Gas City seating
Is there lawn chair seating available?

Re: Gas City seating
small area down by the pit gate by turn 4, but it fills up pretty quick too, bob.

Re: Gas City seating
Never been, heard it was standing room only last year. Sounds like a bleacher extension is overdue.

Re: Gas City seating
Maybe they will knock them down and start over. Most uncomfortable bleachers I have been to ever!

Re: Gas City seating
Agree about the bleachers being the most uncomfortable of any track I have been to

Re: Gas City seating
what grandstands they have they fill up quick. Stands are so close , be prepaired to have black clay all over you. The worst seating of all tracks in Indiana.

Re: Gas City seating
I am in the minority, but I like the seats at Gas City. Yes they are not that comfortable but the view is great. You are right on top of the action. They are steep enough that you can see over the person in front of you. The track purchased a new grandstand a few years ago, but the town refused to grant them a permit to build it and they sold it. It's 3hours I'lll trade a little comfort for a close up view.

Re: Gas City seating
See, the difference with me is.. I'd give a gonad to be able to be there every Friday night just to get dirty watchin the races. Seats aren't level, too close, mud flyin' in yer beer.....Honestly,how can you beat that? :32:

Re: Gas City seating
With the track for sale, we better continue to hope that the dirt is flying and the bleachers remain in place. Otherwise, we might be looking for other entertainment options on Friday nights come 2013.
