I have watched the video a few times. Very sad. Obviously I wasn't there but at about 2:20 in the video it appears to be edited. Goes from nothing to a man either shoving or pushing a woman. I assume they had been told to escort Tyler from the facility was the reason they were still there.

I use to be a big fan of Tyler's back in the late 90's when he and Ricky Warner were teamed up. The boy is a natural talent wheeling a sprint car but it seems like he needs to get his head on straight. I sure hope he does.

We were at the Grove. Walker had been faking low on each restart, then jumping back in line to clear the cone. On this restart, Walker again faked low, but Sammons (the # 747) ran out of fuel and pulled down and Walker had no where to go but below the cone. If he had been in line he could have cleared Sammons on the outside as the others did. Officials were going to penalize him 2 spots but Walker decided to race around and run over the cone and then pulled in. Up to this point I can see both sides. His actions afterwards on the front straight were ridiculous.

couldnt agree more.. lol, still trying to figure out why he kept telling the guy to go to the parking lot.. hell your kicked out and banned already, uhh i think if he was serious about it he would have just stopped talking and got to business.. something tells me if he would have met him outside tyler would come with the age old " throw the first punch, i dare you" routine.. :34:

In a case such as this knowing a little history of the sport could have helped that young man contain himself. He could have asked himself, "what would god do ?" God in this case being Jan Opp.

THat is a sad video on so many fronts. Ridiculous security work, ridiculous actions by the team and maybe the last we will see of a very talented race car driver who cant seem to keep him humm humm nose clean.

both security guards were fired yesterday. tyler and team got last night off. last i checked, they will be at port royal tonight.
the team was having a horrible night and the call made after tyler avoided running over the 747 was BS. yeah, he flipped out but i understand why....and i have done it myself a few times. adrenalin gets flowing and you just blow up.
this isnt chess we play here and sometimes it gets very emotional.

That being said you still have to check your emotions,coming from most recently racing speedway where crashes are pretty common, sometimes with the same guy more than once in a heat race there would be no racing just fights. Your also the spokesman for your team and sponsors. I guess what I'm saying is it's up to yourself to know when you look like a out of control punk. Emotional is one thing, flipping out is another. A perfect clip to show your kids on how not to act.

If the security people would let them load up and they probaly would have. JMO

I don't get to the grove much on Fridays more a supporter of the Saturday Series, but there have been reports of poor security actions there (Fridays) for a couple years. Sad to see this get so out of hand.

Tyler drove for us one time a couple years ago in California on asphalt and was the fastest car on the track. Personable, respectful, and genuinly nice guy if you haven't met him. This was not his best moment, and the kids should not be exposed to the language, but the frustration of the circumstances were great. He is a personality we need in the sport. He drives fast and clean. I would rather have him at my track than not.

Shouldn't that be what do, instead of what does. Don't really care either way. I am sure that was more exciting than anything on the track that night, or the track would have put racing highlights on the website instead. I agree with many that Tyler was out of control, but I think the securtity made the situation much worse. They were as bad as he was.

What pit cart said is absolutely right. Tyler as well as the larger man and the girl were headed back to their trailer. The women security guard followed like a puppy dog. When you tell them to leave and they are, end it. Obviously the other security guard was standing at the trailer running his lemon, and he has a habit of doing so as he ran his mouth "in private" about my dad one night. Glad to see action was taken against them as well.
