Smackdown Lodging

Still trying to figure out what we want to do for this one. Go the motel route or maybe the campground route? Of course i want this to be as cheap as possible especially when we want to spend most of the time at the track. Basically all we really need is a shower on Friday and Saturday morning and that's it, we are use to sleeping in the van anyway.

Tim, I would book that motel 6 on 31 for a night or two just to have a place to shower or get some a/c. Last years sprint week the desk person let me in for $30.00 at 11.am. I dodged the day heat and stayed at the track that night.

I booked a room in Noblesville about 12 years ago...it's really going to pay off for this event. :23: Problem is, it wasn't cheap, still paying for it. :D

I'm all for spending every minute at the track cause we usually do but this time since we aren't travelling to a few tracks where we can hit truck stops on the way we are really only looking for a place to shower on Friday and Saturday mornings.

I was thinking there was a campground within about 10 miles of the track where you could get a shower...Paging Brent Funk!!

We're looking for the same thing Tim is. We're bringing some folks with us that won't do at the track camping. The require showers, so a nearby campground is what we're looking for.

I'm waiting on info from Springhill Campground, not sure if that's the one we are talking about? I believe it is close to the track?

Yes it is. It is about 10 miles west of the track. Just south of SR 22. The phone number I have is not correct, so hopefully I can have imfo later.
