Looks like the weather could be iffy again tonight. Lets just hope we get it in. I was in the back yard last night watching the track being watered and hoping to to see some red clay flying tonight.

Last I heard the rain wasnt supposed to hit till around midnight so lets all keep out fingers crossed that the racing gods will let bloomington get the show in!:Steer

The weather guessers are all over the place with their forecasts. Most are hedging their bets with a lot of maybes, probablys, if the wind shifts,and other waffles. I'm thinking after the checkers falls on the sprinters. Wouldn't this be the first completed sprint car program at Bloomington this month? We're planning to be there. :checkered:

There is no USAC event scheduled against this race, as the National Midget race scheduled for tonight in Wisconsin has been posponed until late August due to inclement weather. Therefore, you will be seeing some of the USAC stars at Bloomington tonight.

I will be there as well. Looking forward to it...

My wife has had some bad experiences with sprint cars, so she will only go with us once every 5 or 6 years. She went to the dustbowl that was the 4-crowns last year, so I suspect she will be done for several years......What a woman! She just called while I was posting to tell me to go to the track tonight.

Chris Nunn here from the tower at Bloomington, I will be going through the pits here and get a preliminary list on who is here and in what cars. So give me about a half hour or so, and ill have you all taken care of :)

You are going to get lucky tonight as the bad weather is not supposed to get to you until after midnight. Kokomo on the other hand may not be here in the morning. Good luck to everyone tonight and be careful.

It cant rain!! We have to get the race in because I am moving to Colorado next week and wont get to see any sprint cars for quite a while:thumbsdown:

I was talking about the storms getting to the Bloomington area. We are in for a H%#$ of a storm from the looks of things. Benton county has winds between 80 and 100 MPH. (channel 13) Round two around one or two in the morning. I am just glad we are not pulling to Gas City tonight with wind like that the trailer gets a little on the unsteady side.
