Since this is NASCAR night, I wonder if it will be "standing" room only? Sorry, couldn't resist! :D

ok btw for the fans out there that expect a great surface tonight just dont even go!! let chris or whoever do their updates!! btw i am going. its 90 degrees at noon with temps raising in into the mid 90's this afternoon with winds in the 20's so somebody is foolish to think there wont be some dust tonight but with that said im sure the guys at terre haute will get the famed half mile in the best racing surface possible!! everybody have a safe trip and enjoy the races!!

If you pay the $25 for the grandstands, can you go down in the infield for part of the time if you want?

btw, We're headed that way at 2:30.

Re: TERRE HAUTE ACTION TRACK Tuesday June 19th

I like the fact that they are planning to use pick ups to pack the track instead of the heavy trucks. Wish he would try that at Springfield too. Awfully tough to not have dust in those conditions.

It is only $15 to sit in the infield. I have watched plenty of races from there, and enjoyed it. Just bring a lawn chair!:6: Actually having looked back at previous posts, if you use the HARF discount, it is only $10! You can't beat that with a stick.

You can't use your HARF discount on infield tickets, just grandstand tickets ;)

Oops, now I see what happens when I assume!
Oh well, $15 is still not too bad.

At least the winds are blowing out of the south away from the grandstand

I counted only 15 sprints. I hope I missed 1 or 2 or 10.

At least there are some good cars, Stanbrough, Gardner, Windom, Hunter, Stockton, etc......oh, and Smoke.

VSneader2 6/19/12 6:41 PM

14 cars according to ballou's facebook post of heat lineups would repost here but not sure how to with my phone

mayor31 6/19/12 6:48 PM

Well good thing the mods showed up. 14 sprintcars I bet some the burg complainers have some reason for this. Atleast the mods will have 3 heats to run in the track. Hoping they put on a better show for the complained

Why? most weekly shows pay less and the track has been decent the last couple of races
