RaceChic66 Cindi Whiteside was taken to the hospital last night with chest pains. Roger Tapy informed me today that she got a heart stint and looks like she will recover soon.
More info as I find out.

Cindi, First, Glad your still with us! Get well soon!

Second, You have to stay on top of it with diet and meds to avoid a repeat that would require bypass. Stints only work if they don't get clogged themselves.

i just got off the phone with jim. cindi is still at methodist hospital. she is in and out and in a lot of pain. she did have a mild heart attack. while the doctors were putting in a catheder in her leg they cut an artery and she began to bleed internally. they are now working on that problem. another problem she is having is the medicine that they were giving her for the blood leaking was fighting against the medicine they were giving her for the stint in her heart. cindi needs lots of prayers right now, but anyone who knows cindi knows that she is a tough chic and she will pull out just fine. thoughts and prayers are with the whitesides their families and everyone who loves them!

Scary stuff, Hang in there Cindi!

I had a heart attack 4th May this year, luckily I called the paramedics, then had the heart attack while they were at my house.

I got a stent, and am on the mend, I'm sure you'll make a full recovery, best wishes.

Talked with Jim today.
Cindi has been in a bed for more than 32 hours so she isn't very comfortable. Doctors have her heart under control and her BP is back to normal.
Cindi sez Thank You to all the Love and Prayers sent her way and hopes to see everybody at the track soon.

Thanks to everyone for all the prayers and concern. I got home this evening around 5:30pm and I am resting comfortabley.

This was actually quite odd for me. I had been nauseated for a few weeks how-ever no chest pains along with the nausea. But Monday I was in the yard watering the flowers and started feeling real funny. It only took me until 11:00pm to figure out something was not quite right. So off to the ER I went. This little stunt was not in my plans at all nor did I have time for it... But it happened. I am sure with all the support of my friends and family I will be 100% before long. Can't wait to see you all at the races.

Here are thought and prayers for you from the West Coast! 12 years on my stent. Just did a stress test, will see how things are going after the Eastern tour. The race tract diet is hard to stay away from. :greenflag:
