Re: Thursday Night Sprints at Lincoln Park Speedwa
Seriously? Would GOD rain on a race track? Plan on a great night of sprint car racing in beautiful downtown Putnamville. I just hope that Spiker's team gets what they want, and that's a big car count and butts in the seats. It is a perfect scenario, sprint cars on a great race track, great seating, bring your own coolers, NOT 90 degrees (finally), a short drive for most of us, a tight show so we get home early, and for only $10 bucks...how can you resist? See you at LPS, bob:8:

Re: Thursday Night Sprints at Lincoln Park Speedwa
Been up all night tracking the weather! Looks like everything keeps splitting up with a big chunk going north of us and the rest going south! Looks like the special race request we applied for is working!
We are anticipating an awesome night of sprint car racing action in the heart of beautiful, dry, downtown, Putnamville, Indiana tonight! Thursday Night Sprints has arrived! :8: |
Re: Thursday Night Sprints at Lincoln Park Speedwa
I hope it keeps splitting around the track. weather.com shows rain moving in around 3. looks like I will just wait until 5 before i decide if I'm making the hour drive over.

Re: Thursday Night Sprints at Lincoln Park Speedwa
Not looking too good for tonight
http://www.weather.com/weather/map/i...animation=true Looks like the first part will go to the north but I don't think there is any avoiding the next part. looks to be right over the track at 6:30 :( |
Re: Thursday Night Sprints at Lincoln Park Speedwa
Im usually a positive thinking individual, but that radar looks ridiculous
|
Re: Thursday Night Sprints at Lincoln Park Speedwa
it's only a small band, everybody grab an umbrella and cover your share of the track. Or have Spiker just put the top up for awhile. bob.:41::

Re: Thursday Night Sprints at Lincoln Park Speedwa
Rain has stopped, no standing water on the track, haulers in the pits, fans on the property!
