We'll be leavin' outa' Central Land O' Lincoln & crooked potiticians 'bout noon Thursday with the Wife in the right seat (since she's a flight attendant that's airline speak for passenger side) and the camper tied on behind. Hope to be at the Wabash Valley Fairgrounds 'bout 3.5 hours later waitin' to hear the boys in the band play my favorite song done by the group called "Mashin' The Loud Pedal"!
Ain't comin' home 'till Monday afternoon. Gonna' do the Hoosier Hundred and the 500, too. We look forward to this weekend all year. See ya' there!! |

could anyone tell me how quickly they ran the last race out there at THAT. Trying to figure out if I should have my mom pick my wife up from the hospital or pick her up after the races.

I had thought about leaving Phoenix yesterday so I would be at THAT, the Hoosier 100and the Little 500 to support Fred and Tom; then about two weeks ago the pavement girl in me won out. I decided I was ready to head east so I would be in N. Y. to spend Memorial Day Weekend with my grandsons, daughter and son-in-law. So I headed out last Wed. so I could see Coleman run at Bloomington on Friday, spent a great weekend in Indy, arrived in Oswego today and off to see those grandsons on Friday. Safe travels, take lots of pictures at THAT and Hoosier 100, can't wait to see them. Patti |
