Saw him come out of the speedway crash house, tweaked his wrist a little but should be good to go after they fix his ride. Sheared off most of the left rear. There is a backup if they need it.

They were showing the car just a while ago, the backup evidently isn't considered much of an option, Robin Miller was telling what they needed, to fix the crashed one, engine, transmission, lot's of stuff, but it was all available just across the street, this just in, they're gonna have it ready before closing time, or so they are reporting now! Bob!:)

There should be no panic, this is the year that 4 laps is all you need,there will be no more than 33 cars. Hope they put a ton of down force in it, get their 4 laps, then start the race so Sarah gets the money to pay the bills. Wonder if Thomas S. would be an option, or if the money to get the seat hampers those type of thoughts?

Sucks to have seen that. They say they will get the car together to go tomorrow. just need 4 good laps to make the race. once the race starts it will be a whole different animal.

Tomas no longer lives in Indianapolis, he moved back to Europe last winter. I think his Indy career may be over, the Wheldon wreck really shook him.

Any word if they got the car back together? They seemed reluctant to put the backup out there. This is a big hit for Sarah.

He did 216.649 in the early Sunday practice.

No worrys today, there will be 33 cars maybe? SFHR peps know the situation, ton of down force and 4 laps.

Gotta love the bit of humor shown by Team SFM/Clauson. The put a Band Aid on it literally! Now if they could get the Johnson and Johnson Sponsorship :)

Just qualified 30th with a speed of 214.455. I would say a pretty conservative run, just trying to get it in the race. with only ed carpenter left he will start no further back then 31st. I only caught he first half of the interview with robin as the coverage cut to commercial. but he said they just loaded up on down force to get it in, since he had very little practice after rebuilding the car
