I plan on it. Pole Day at IMS that day, IRP that night. I have always thought IRP should have a race that night. Lot of race fans already in town...

Just going by memory, but there was a USAC pole day sprint race at IRP for several years. I have program(s) somewhere from it in all my disorganized racing stuff.

I meant that they should always have a race on that date, not that they have never done it in the past. Sorry if not clear.

Asphalt? Hell No!!!. lol not my favorite but ill probably be there.

In my Opinion(an yes this is just MY opinion) but a USAC hall of fame race should be held on dirt. Most guys inducted (if im not mistaken) had not ran sprint cars on asphalt. I could be wrong though, have been once or twice...lol

The plan is to be there. Use my HARF ticket for pole day. Then IRP that night. Supers at Winchester followed by Kokomo Sun Night.

Since you asked, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! Not going to spend my night watching 18ish or so cars for 100 laps with no heats or anything else. That is not much of a program, combined with the fact that of the last 20 or so SC races I've seen at IRP only 2 of them were any good at all! This guy will be at Putnumville for 1/2 the cost :22:and a (IMO) much better show.
