Awesome race last year a lot of sprints!

This 2 day show will be a great way to start the dirt season here in the Hoosier state. Go Stanbrough and the 21x team!!

Have seen some great sprint shows there. Early in the season so mother nature should have the track prepped well. I wish they would fix the old place up to get some sanctioned races there again. USAC usually always put on a great show there.

Re: north vernon???

I know I'm going to get ripped for this, but...We drove about 7 hours from Michigan, and were met with a track that looked like it was prepped by Michigan standards. The upper half of the track as obviously under prepped. The only time we even saw the water truck (we arrived approximately 5pm) was to water the infield.
The only other complaint I really had was that the races started late, and there was NO sense of urgency to get the program in. I understand weather conditions are out of the tracks and everyone else hands, but you can also do folks a favor and get it completed in a timely fashion.
That's my honest take on the event, that being said I'm going against my word in saying that I'd never be back. I plan on attending again this year due to and longer than expected methanol deprivation, and hoping for the best.

If memory serves me correctly, the Friday night portion was rained out last year. I do remember that they got a late start on Saturday because I thought we were going to be late. Turned out, we were early.:14:

That's correct, I failed to mention my take on it was strictly from the Saturday portion. We are planning on attending both nights this year, and hoping the weather gods cooperate!
