Which female driver would you choose?
 

Here is a question to you racefans.......

If you owned a midget, which one of this year's three female Indy 500 starters would you choose to drive the car at the "Night Before the 500" at ORP this Saturday night?

Who would you choose? Danica Patrick, Sarah Fisher, or Milka Duno?

That is just because of her prior experience and minimal learning curve compared to Patrick.

No Milka for me. Don't have enough money to get her through the learning stage.

Sarah Fisher. I really believe that she got tons of breaks due to her gender just like Danica, however she has shown some sucess in a midget before. I would somewhat disagree that she earned her way into the IRL, but thats just my opinion. I would however say that she's been probably the best female midget/sprint driver I've seen in my lifetime...

I too would make Danica Patrick the O-fish-all midget washer!:idea:

And I would kick Milka's sweet rear end back to Venezuela to pump some Citgo gas for Hugo!:moon:

Milka - yes, you may make a point but how can you honestly say that Danica has not earned her way to where she is? Certainly her looks have helped her cause but for peets sake, she left home and moved to Europe to advance her racing career when she was a teenager and has been racing since she was a single digit old!! What else does she need to do??? Lucky for all of us she's determined and won't let her critics run her off.

I'm not saying I am the biggest Danica fan in the world but all this ***** about her not "earning her way" is just bullsh!t...get a clue and take off those blinders you are wearing and open your damn eyes! :headbang

I hope she goes out and wins the 500 on Sunday so her critics and look at her profile forever on the Borg Warner trophy! Probably then you'll change your tune and proclaim you've always been a big fan and what she has done to bring fans back to open wheel racing was exaclty what the sport needed in its dire state...

Well I would def Have to pick Fisher she's worked hard and could put up a great fight, She was the first woman ever to win at Winchester I'm sure she could handle ORP.

I'd have Ms. Throckmorton at least qualify the car then let Sarah drive it.

Milka and Danica could be on the pit crew. Another Sarah, McCune, would make a great backup driver.

I was a Sarah McCune fan for a while until she took out Jay Drake in the IPS race at Chicagoland and blamed it on him

Sara Fisher all the way, my perception of Sara is she just wan'ts to be a racer or champion. You never seen Dale Earnhardt in Sports Illustrated because he looked good in his underware.

:thumb True most of you have it right as I said before Sarah Fisher is the best bet for ORP race and has more talent than Danica and Milka and others don't get me wrong McCune was pretty good to that I myself have seen and if Sarah had the equipment that Danica has gotten in IRL she would have been the first female to win a Indy car race. I just wish some of the top teams would have given her that oppertunity.There are so many drivers out there that get over looked due to their funding.The only reason Sarah didn't get attention like Danica has is she has higher standards and was not going to take off her clothes to get that chance. Thats why I respect her so much. I have actually met Danica just last week, she might look nice on the outside but inside where it counts she looks like a dead skunk at the side of the road and acts ungreatful. She knows that she is just a marketing tool and is just taking advantage of it.

Sarah Fisher. In my opinion Sarah has done more with less than both Milka and Danica. I would love, once and for all, for her to pick up a ride with Penske, or Ganassi, just to end the debate one way or the other. I do think she would shine, though.

I would pick Stephanie Mockler over the three listed. Last year she came from the back to like 4th in a couple of laps with a broken car.

yeah met her about 10 yrs...went to devils bowl to watch her race last october winternationals.....here is her race results from last weekend Michelle started 12th in one feature and tenth in the other, and drove through the field to take the wins. Somebody needs to give her a chance in USAC.

I would bring all three.

Sarah Fisher to race.

I would kidnap Danica for the evening and have Stephanie Mockler race as Danica Patrick.

I would have Milka in the stands selling souvenir programs.

i always root for the locals and the grass root racers who show up at local events to meet the fans. Sarah Fisher was at the Vogler Daytona 500 party, Stephanie Mockler was at the Racing for Cory party at the Music Mill, and our pal Miranda Throckmorton was also at the Daytona party and always comes to the HARF Monte Carlo nights with autographed t-shirts, as does Arin McIntosh. my question is why is Sarah so much cuter in person than on her tv commercials. bob:checkered:

If Danica wins the 500 the Borg Warner will no longer be a trophy it will become a Bust. Well I guess that depends on how much of her image is on the thing.

BTW, Danica does have some midget experience... well Fidget's anyway. She was a test driver for Ford when the Focus midgets were being developed. She made a ton of laps at Irwindale in a Fidget and held some track record there according to an old issue of OpenWheel.

Of the three in the 500 this year, Sara would be the one I would put in my car if I had to use one of them.

Sarah Fisher by far...she'd lap Danica in equal equipment. I doubt Danica would drive under the late Kevin Gobrecht at Williams Grove without lifting like Sarah did.
