Re: Get well soon Vickie Black!

Thanks to all for their prayers and positive thoughts. Vicki's surgery was last Thursday (2-23-2012) and lasted about 3 hours with another 3 hours in recovery. She didn't remember us being there when she got to her room but by the next day she was much more alert (and alot less medicated). Saturday still alot of pain and pain killers and we didn't get more then a dozen words out of her in our 4 hour visit, so imagine my surprise when I got up to see her on Sunday afternoon (after the Daytona party, a great party...all we didn't have was a race) and she was bright eyes, wide awake, sitting up, and eating! A world of difference in a 24 hour span. We are looking at being at St. Vincents till Tuesday and then being transferred to a rehab facility (she found one with a pool, so she's looking forward to that). So once again, Thank You to everyone, there's still nothing like our racing family and Vicki really appreciated the thoughts. bob:6:
