I would imagine unless you live under a rock you will know about this by the time the race starts tomorrow. Probably a reason for me not to watch.

I posted this Daytona game to play for Sundays race on another website eary this morning... Watch the pre race show Sunday and have plenty of beer next to you. Each time someone on Tv says the word "Danica" take a drink of beer.. Then see how many laps you make it till you pass out or add up how many beers you drank during the race....Maybe you can share the resuts with us. Can you imagine how many new idiot fans Nascar will have if she does good on Saturday or Sunday..

I'm gonna try and watch to see how her team mate mr. Cole Whitt does

I'm going to say nationwide series officials put a smaller restrictor plate on her car for qualifying in a desprerite attempt to boost there ratings for the race.

Well lets see. Who made the engines and the car for her race today?
I would think if she did not make the pole, it would be a shock.
As far as making the 500 on Sunday, she paid for the top 32 points from last year to make it. Hey Dave Blaney, bet he is a big fan of her. So she crashes her way into the 500.
How maney years was she in indy cars? She lucked into one win on pits stops. Last year she could not drive her way out of a wet bag. As far as I know the only thing she has done racing is to lead a few laps at Indy when everyone was in in the pits. Also does dirty videos at go-daddy. I'm thinking I will watch the race with the sound off and have the race on the radio. That would hopefully get rid of the Waltip goobers and having to hear about danica all of the race.

Yeah if she came to 410 non wing sprinters....i see alot of people jumping ship and becoming danica fans then nobody would be complaining

I better not. Knowing how often we may hear the name I would be in for a lost weekend that would last into next Thursday. That would match the longevity of how long Stevie will kick Darrell Waltrip out of the house for being overzealous about his princess girlfriend.:3:

I don't think we will have to worry about her doing good. I fully expect her baptism to continue as she will probably get caught up in one of those stupid "big ones" that so often happens.

At least she puts butts in the stands thats what promoters want. If she raced in USAC or any other non-wing or wing division the stands would be full. Get over it shes a marketing machine.

I don't know which I am more tired of, the over hype that Danica gets or the haters who are even MORE obsessed with her and comment on every thing she does.

It's not the first pole she's sat on lol and would also like to add I think the haters are just mad Smoke and Jr are gettin all that action

I don't like all the hype, but it's not like she is out there Milka Duno'ing it... and when you get all "church lady" over the go daddy videos, you really do a disservice to any credible complaint you have.

"big time" racers with a lot to lo$e, won't get in a midget or a non wing car. A conversation I had with Brad Sweet last year reminds me why we see Cup drivers moonlighting in WoO sprinters. :43::

i wouldnt say that I am a hater of her, but more a hater of all the media attention. I have a hard time considering her more talented than Sarah Fisher and Sarah could never get a break but she never sold her soul to make Godaddy commercials.

It could not have been summed up more succinctly. A spectator's heart probably beats more times during a 30 lap non wing sprint race than it does during an entire NASCAR 500 mile snooze fest. We're in a recession here. Do what you gotta' do to fill the stands, even if it means parading "Princess Sparkle Pony" incessantly about.

I am with shortbus on this one. I am NOT a Danica hater by any stretch but I do not like it that she is all they talk about like she is the only one on the track. I am just sick of hearing about her. There may be a battle for the lead and a good one and she is running 25th or something stupid and they will be talking about her and how good she is managing etc etc. When she is running up front talk about her, when others are running up there, HELLO talk about them....

Smaller holes means less air intake and slower speed, that's what a restrictor plate is, I trhink you mean larger intake holes.:34:

There is a long list of names that ran Indy cars and never got close enough to win a race on fuel mileage!! Yet many of them are in the sprint car hall of fame. Some of those same legends never led at Indy, never finished in the top 5 in points, and never looked so dam hot!!

There are those that hate anyone that is successful, hate the kids that come with money, ect.. at the end of the day results are not bought they are earned on talent ( or some key board lurker:8:) regarless of how you get there!
