A. Before you start attacking a driver and a d@mn good one I would think first before you start typing. B. I would highly doubt the car was ever close to perfect Shu has battled some real evil race cars before. And always out up a good fight. C. His quitting is his choice and no one should need a reason why or even question his reason why. Billy Puterbaugh

I think you unknowingly got caught up in an inside joke between crew and driver, Billy.

That car is an experimental R and D car where they are testing the use of quick release fasteners on the seat. So far test results on the fasteners have been positive, but they can probably go back to using old fashioned nuts and bolts with some rust preventer for Shu because the seat will hopefully be staying in place for awhile.

Good people in that bunch. Good luck in Florida.

My money is still on Hunter for Florida no matter who is driving what or who quit driving what.......I think I am going to put my own car together for the eastern swing.......if I can put the right deal together. I was going to do it last year but couldn't get anyone interested in doing it.

If everyone gave Little Shu a dollar for each look, he'd have a great start on his trip south, and remember one dollar isn't hard to do, but if everyone does ,its a nice chunk of change.

Hank, is Rick Penell going to drive in Fl. if I remember right he was the first winner in the 21x, seven seats in the engine room whats one more. Save me a seat in the truck Hank. And Uncle Ricky will have to turn the tv off cause I need to get some sleep in the hotel rooms. :3:

Jracer2m 2/3/12 4:15 PM

I heard hotrod is getting promoted from the grain truck drive to the racecar driver in the 21x operation

Yes, we are pals......and hopefully you'll land a steady ride for 2012.

kart31rac 2/4/12 3:28 PM

Re: Shuman Quiting?

Hotrod won't be able to drive in FL cause they dont have Keystone LT at the track, but back in the day he could put a 4020 around a corn field.

Isn't the internet great! So much knowledge, so little verification. Is Jimmy Wilson still available? Probably not a lot of grain hauling right now.
