I looked ahead and seen the half hour time slot. I was hoping that might be a mistake.

The DuQuoin indoor midget race from late 2010 that aired last year on "Lucas Oil on the Edge" was also a 30-minute time slot. I would've liked to have seen this race get at least an hour time slot with heat races included, but it looks like they are only going to show the feature. With commercials and the show host's time on the air, you will see about 20 minutes of the actual event. Better than nothing, but I want more.

Go to www.midgetmadness.com and scroll down past the Chili Bowl video. You will see the Duquoin indoor race video. The complete feature is posted.

Yes, and there is another event covered as well during the half hour. This show needs to expand to one hour, or not try to cover so many events in the same program.

Don't get me wrong, I love how Forrest Lucas puts on a show exposing many types of racing. However they do this with 100 lap late model races and stuff it and five interviews in 18 minutes after commercials, You might get to see ten laps of actual racing..

Wish the sponsorship and advertisers would come on board to make em at least hour long programs.

Just a reminder there may be some midget racing on right now, it looks like the 1/2 hour is being shared with some other racing. Or 4 wheeler in an obstacle course.

The midgets were the first 20 mins of the show. They showed both B Mains and the A Main. The coverage was OK, but not spectacular. Unfortunately, the races were the same. Certainly nothing like Andrew's stories of Little Belleville. :3:

Its never the same on TV !!

As I recall there were like 53 midgets one night, and 45 the other night. One night the action was up front, and the other night the action was a bit further back in the field.

I'd still go back there though !!
