That was an awesome midget race. Bryan once again proves his ability and Thomas sure did drive the wheels off of his car too.

Brilliant videography, Ross. Spot on track prep left enough on the bottom or
guys stuck with a huggy-pole set up and a cushion for the rim riders and sliders.
The slider clinic presented by Clauson and T-Mez was worth twice the admission
price. If you were not there, you have my deepest condolences.

A big thumbs up to PowerI, all the drivers, their crews and the track prep gang that worked Tuesday through Saturday.

That was a great race and a great video! I would have fallen over dizzy if I tried that!

Good lord what a race....anybody that stayed home expecting a huggy pole bottom feeder parade must be kicking themselves now.

I have been saying it for a long time AJ Felker builds one "Hell" of a race car. The harder you push them the better they work and that is the honest to god's truth. The problem is drivers used to driving most other cars don't push them hard enough to make them work. I have watched it time and time again most drivers just don't think they can push a car that hard. I've watched my son driving one of AJ's mini sprints close on a car so fast getting into a turn that he catches the other driver compleatly off guard.

This young man flat put the car through the test, they just love to be driven hard and then a little harder yet. All AJ needs is the right driver and the right money man to come together, then midget racing had better watch out because I guarantee they will be on a roll.:6::8:

I think Brad Kuhn finished 5th in one of AJ 's car's also. That goes to show you it can be done on a budget if you put forth enough effort and can do all the work in house. AJ is a special guy, and I have also known that for years!

I think he was using hellium in the front tires.

That was great, slip slidin, bump'n bangin racing at it's best. Neither driver did the other too nasty either. Wish this type of racing would be brought to the Silverdome in Pontiac. Don't care for going to Detroit but would if there was a race like this. :6:

The most impressive thing to me is that camera work. I wouldve fallen over or lost my lunch after spinning that much. Very good race too

Great video. I know this is a little off topic, but there is one thing that I have noticed that kinda annoys me with midget racing and sometimes the sprints. Why does everyone have to have a black car. It is not easy to read the numbers. Come up with some originality so I can tell who is who. I would like to thank the Loyets, I always know what car they are in.

I wish I did not leave before the A-main, I had a 4 hour drive home, but during the heats and qualifiers, the crowd wasn't bad. And I'm glad that gate held up when that car's throttle stuck and he went flipping.

Most of the bodies come in black gel coat fiberglass so you don't have to spend money on a paint job's every time they get in a little trouble.
BLACK is also a serious race color. Nothing more pretty than a shiny Black race car with Gold Leaf lettering on it. Black seems to say to me racing is "Serious Business".

My wife runs the camera and she hates black too. People with black car's need to have big bright numbers on them.;)

Haven't had time to view the video yet, but I sure had an enjoyable evening; great racing and superb track preparation. Also had an enjoyable chat with Leon Gentry; good to see him out and about after his recent heart episode.
