Re: BC to run Indy
That is absolutely great news! I predict that we are going to see some great racing by BC in the 500. He is a racer and will do well.
|
Wonder what car and team he will be with?
Congrats to BC, definitely a cool deal for sure. Posted via Mobile Device |
Re: BC to run Indy

Re: BC to run Indy
You have to figure, when a racing family packs up their belongings and moves to Indiana, from over 2000 miles away, that this is their ultimate dream. I just so happy for Bryan, Tim, Di and Taylor that all their collective belief, sacrifice and hard work have paid off. And better you bet, it took all of them to get this job done. This should be an inspiration to everyone out there with a dream, that if you're willing to literally do whatever it takes to achieve you goal, anything is possible.:8:

Congratulations Bryan and all the Clausons on this fantastic announcement. Best of luck at Indy in May. I bet grandpa Bob drank a few extra Buds when he heard this news. Again Bryan, congratulations to a great racer and a great young man.

Re: BC to run Indy
This the best news us USAC fans have had in many, many years.
How long has it been since we had a "real" USAC guy go from Midgets, Sprints, and Silver Crown cars run the 500? I cannot wait to see him run the fairgrounds and the next day run the 500. Haven't seen that in many years! How awesome! and how exciting! Good luck BC! I will be rooting for you!:22: |
Re: BC to run Indy
Awesome! Go bc!

Re: BC to run Indy
That's way cool, Bryan. You, Tim and the rest of the BCI family deserve a ton of credit. It's great to see your diligence, hard work and talent paying off. Best of luck, and I look forward to seeing you in Tulsa.

Re: BC to run Indy
Congrats!! That is great news!
Look for a forthcoming announcement of Bryan defending his Beast Circle Track Feud title, at the Indy Circle Track Expo 12. That's Saturday Jan. 28th! You can wish him luck in person, and join the list of people who will say, "I knew him when"...! |
Re: BC to run Indy
Congrats BC! We'll be cheering you on from the Southeast Vista!

Re: BC to run Indy
Awesome to see BC get a ride at the Speedway! :6:
I purchased my airline ticket for Indy within minutes of hearing the news last night !! You listening Mr. Bernard.....It worked.. Also hearing that the team BC will be driving for will be announced in the near furure. I'm sure all will approve.... |
The Fairgrounds is on Friday, which he would probably run, but I doubt you will see him in a midget at IRP, for the night before. I don't think they are allowed to do that anymore. Good Luck Bryan! Make All the Open Wheel guys proud! Hope this is a sign of things to come, like when the IRL, first got started. Still remember seeing King Steve and Dewitt Hewitt!

Re: BC to run Indy
A wonderful opportunity for Bryan and he is certainly deserving. Great to see a nice young man succeed and we look forward to seeing him in an INDYCar. I hope this is the beginning of a pipeline from midget, sprints & silver crown to IMS.:6:

Re: BC to run Indy
Now we need to start a fund to put a IOW sticker on it. Ill through in the first $20 to get it started. :35:
|
Let's just realize that it's only 300 thousand. There is still way more needed to secure a ride for the 500

Re: BC to run Indy
Plus nothing but class from BC at the USAC Banquet. It was funny to watch BC after Randy dropped that bomb on him, Bryan said "you guys give me $40,000 in cash and tell me I'm getting a chance to live my dream and drive in the Indianapolis 500...and now you expect me to talk?" great line! All the best to BC & crew. and to get in on the guessing like all the rest, since his Indy Lights ride was with Sam Schmidt Racing, and they did sit on the pole for the 500 last May, maybe another good omen. Whatever the team, most of us on this site will be rooting on another open wheel Champion to do great in "The Greatest Spectacle In Racing, the Indy 500. bob:22:
