2012 USAC Calendar WOW THIS IS GREAT!
 

Drivers, Fans, Owners and Sponsors,

Keep your eyes open for the Official USAC Open Wheel 2012 Collectors Volume #1 Edition that should be ready for sale within a week. Tim Grant of California is doing the design and layout of the calendar and it is going to have 75 action packed images from Dave Merritt and a few other photographers that are top guns in the USAC ranks. This is going to definetly be a collectors item as well as it is just in time for sponsors as year end thank gifts as well as all the fans and racers for Christmas and I can gurantee you, it is without a doubt, one of the nicest projects I have seen in quite along time. More later as soon as I get more info I will be sure and pass it on to you.

The great thing about Tim doing this, is he has formatted it so you can cut the pages or months out after they are over and its ready to put in a nice frame and ready to hang in the shop or your office.. What a awesome concept.

Cant wait to get my hands on one.

Tim has some images on his site for samples of what the #1 USAC Collector Edition Calendar will look like, he also has an ordering link, but hurry these are printed in small quanities and will go fast once the word gets out, I'm simply letting the Loyal IOW users know first.

Need to thank Dave Merritt and Dennis Krieger. They supplied most of the great actions shots we used in the calendar. Other contributing photographers include. John Lee, Matt-Mark Sublett, Cory Stivason, and Steve Elliot. Kody Swanson supplied photos by Chris Petersen.

This calendar was designed to give open wheel racing fans a different look to the standard photo calendar. Each month has a unique custom layout of a selected driver. The calendar is also packed full of over 75 action photos and art layouts.

The website has multiple options to purchase or reserve a calendar for pick-up at one of the upcoming USAC events.

This is a limited edition calendar, so buy one soon. They are going fast.

Here is the art design of Tracy Hines. There are 11 more unique custom layouts of drivers including Levi Jones, Bryan Clauson, Jerry Coons Jr, and more. A sample of a monthly calendar portion to follow.

This layout started with a picture of Tracy supplied by Dennis Krieger.

Tim has the fresh off the press calendars at Perris Oval Natls tonight and the rest of the weekend. They are selling fast, so get yours as quickly as possible. I reserved two to be picked up at the Oval Nationals. I was in the pits for 3 hours in the afternoon and then in the grandstands for the whole show. I walked around the concessions back of the grandstands three times and couldn't find the calendars. Where are they?

Frank I just sent him and Email as he is at Perris and I told him that you have ordered two and you couldnt find him at the event. The only thing I can think is he may not of made it tonight and be there Friday and Saturday/ I will keep you posted

Hello All.

We finally made it to Perris late last night. We are here and will distribute calendars today and tomorrow. We will have a booth set up behind the main grandstands.

I little delayed, but we are here and the calendars are a BIG hit, so please come by. Look forward to talking with everyone interested in these calendars.

We will start shipping out on Monday.

The response has been overwhelming so please be patient. Will will
process all current orders within 3 days starting Monday.

Lots of great reviews at Oval Nationals. Word is spreading fast, calendars are in high demand. A big Thank You to everyone that made this calendar a success. Especially the drivers. Without them we would not have a calendar. Got great feedback from the drivers as well.

I recieved mine yesterday when my friend Curtis returned from Perris. All I can say is "WOW"! The photography,artwork,lithography and thick glossy paper are all first rate. And,perhaps most importantly for folks like us,NOT A WING TO BE SEEN!! That was always a problem for me with other sprint car calendars,eleven months of garage doors and one of our guys! If you get one of these,I don't believe you'll be disappointed.Good job Tim! :8:

Nice work, I cant wait to see them. I heard from a friend of mine, they are going fast, so hopefully, there will be enough to spread around...
