No 1000cc at Tulsa Shoot out?

Thought I would look on the Tulsa Shoot out web site to see what was new or not. I noticed that the lightning sprints or 1200/1000cc class is not listed?? Anyone know what is going on? On AMSA site it still shows it.

Yeah. It's annoying. I see it on Every thread. All week. People talking about brownstown you but in talking about Florida. Make your own thread. Keep this one about tulsa.

The way you were "badmouthing' the 600 sidewinders the other day, might have been a bad idea, or had you forgotten that? Bob!:)

Ive heard rumors of them televising the eco tech midgets due to them trying to get big name nascar drivers to race and they would have to drop the 1000's but haven't officially heard anything yet. Hopefully its not true.

I'll catch grief for this but, I'm sick of nascar drivers and midgets are great but if you want to keep tracks and affortable racing going lighnting sprints should be promoted not demoted. Anymore it's not the racing thats the draw it's more a popularity contest, yeah we have so and so from nascar racing, driving cars that a impossible for the "common" man to even think about owning. Who cares ? I like racing, not Idol worshiping, especially since alot of todays Idols arnt even good racers, they're just great personalitys. Just like one of the top Indy guys just said recently "theres plenty of personal conflicts to keep the fans interested". I dont want to watch grudges work out on the track I want to see good racing.

I think Mr. Hahn is making the biggest mistake he could make. NOT running the 1200cc mini sprints. He wants to run the Eco-tech midgets and get it on t.v. BIG DEAL!!!!!!! We was going to stop and watch the Shoot out for there is about 25 of us with big motor homes that stop by last year to watch the mini's for we are great fan s of them. Not now we will go straight to Az and forget Tulsa this year. Hope you have them back next year.
