A very entertaining evening at the Gasser tonight. Grant took home the victory but not before having to work hard for it. He started 5th and the battle between him and Hendrick was excellent. Wes Mac also hung right in there and after Grant did a big time cross over move to secure the lead from Hendrick, MacIntyre and Hendrick then went toe to toe until the :22:

Track was in excellent shape and remained that way throughout the entire racing program. Modified feature was also good with multiple grooves in which to race.

The ex mailman entertained us for part of the evening. He certainly is enjoying that free time that he now has. Sorry to see the curtain fall on the season but a beautiful night to enjoy the guys putting on a show.:6:

Grant actually started 10th, he was aggressive and was up to 3rd in the first few laps. Very fast track, would have liked to see 40 laps tonite

Just home from GC, what a race to end the season with for them. Hendrick has had a couple really good runs in the last week and no win to show for it. thought he might be able to hold off Grant however grant showed him the nose on the outside and JH moved up to take his line and that was the move Grant needed as he switched lines to go low and get the lead and not look back. Had to laugh before the feature started the guys behind us talking about who was going to win and one guys says I'll take Grant he won from 18 last time and the other guys says that was last time not this time, well guess what, it was this time also. He really seems to have GC figured out, to watch him on those first few laps was crazy. Congrats on a good win to Grant and to Burdette for his track Championship. One to go, Klash next Saturday, can't wait. Bob Bressert:-)
