Leaving for Ohio from northern Indiana in 45 minutes. Partly cloudy and pleasant up here.

Hoping for a Cowboy spotting.

Two trips to the Buckeye State in three days. Tomorrow should be three in four days.

Friday (3:15 pm) - Gates are now open and teams are heading pit side. The light breeze we had this morning out of the north is now out of the south and it's helped warm us up a bit. Track crews are trying to let the sun dry the track as much as possible before putting the heavy equipment on it. Our exact start time may be altered a bit due to track conditions but we'll stick to 6:00 hot laps as best we can! <PIX>

I think all 3 USAC divisions will do the group qualifying while hot laps are taking place and that's all on Saturday.

Hopefully it will be single car qualifying

All three entry forms on the USAC website say single car qualifying.

Joey had 'em covered. Dust has been worse. Some dicing going on with Meyers, Blaney and Dollansky at the end.

Mod heats were very good but the feature was plagued by incidents, etc. I gave up after Mr. Hayden crashed. Hated that.

Good to see Joey come back and win at the track that bit him.

Mr. Stewart gave it a try but came up short.

Bringing the whole crew tomorrow night.

Glad to see brain hayden's name in the mods rundown!! Wish he had a better night!!

Watched my first WoO show tonite. I know. Hard to believe but true. Glad I got to see ONE!

And thanks to Hayden I had the pleasure of spending a few minutes talking with Tony Stewart. I thought it was pretty cool to find out Tony enjoys a little IOW from time to time that is of course when he can find a little free time in his busy schedule Thanks Tony!

Very enjoyable night even though we loaded a crashed racecar.

You need to do as RacinBabe & I do. We have a three yellow rule for mortified racing. When the third yellow :41:: is thrown, we are out of there. Friday night they had two yellows with no completed laps. The third one flew a couple of laps later and we were history.:3: Sorry we missed seeing the Burton clan. Hope to see you this Saturday.

That one yellow to many. Areo has already had two beers in by the third caution
