Glad to to see Chad out run the family car. The reasoning for their driver change is way beyond anything I could ever fathom after their run during sprint week.

Not real sure on what happen there. But after the performance he had in Sprint week. Defiantly shows you need more money then talent. I hope chad gets a good ride. Or is somehow able to build him up a good car as he is awesome to watch...

First off, A big prayer of comfort and condolence to Jason Soudrette and family on the loss of their father who's news came literally at race time

Fun night on a heavy track and Hunter was taking no prisoners after darn near taking a spill in the heat. He came back to win the consi and win the feature from 16th place. Great run for Boespflug as well who was only a car length behind at the checker. Memmer was insane and came from 17th to third. Brady never seemed quite on all night. Westerfeld was insanely fast early and doing the unconventional line thing which at times he seemed to get in over his head. Could be somthing totally different. IDK, thats my observation.

Late Models were fun and fast but the feature was riddled with cautions early but was full of racing later on with the 54 taking the lead about 2/3rds mark.

Weasel Rhoads Ended Groomers Dominance but Groomer still came back to second in a hard fought Mod Feature.

Street stocks were a demo derby and I don't think a car remained unscathed. Patterson took the win and the point lead but he was bent up as well.

Great night of racing, Track was heavy, Perhaps a bit too heavy as it rolled all night and still had 25 ft of cushion after all that racing. Many cars were having problems going from the rubber and hitting the cushion off four. Some managed better than others and some simply ran above it.

No complaints from me about the track though. Good night.

I do have a observations and its not to seem negative as I appreciate everyone's hard work including the wrecker drivers. Its not a ***** but a real time saving observation and its been annoying for some time.

No other employee, Worker at the track is sitting in lawn chairs watching the races except maybe the scorers. I really don't care 2-3 minutes saved for ten tows by simply being in the trucks and running and in motion when a wheels rolling about the track for ten plus incidents is 30-45 minutes off the program. I know no other track this goes on. I apreciate their hard work in actually doing it but it seems second nature and not what they are there for.

Not looking for stuff to ***** about but too IMPROVE THE PRODUCT!
Thank you and thank all at LBurg for a fun night. And thanks to Merril Downey. he knows :)

I have been saying this for years. Not only slow response time but I have seen them get stuck in the mud, try to back straight up the banking, and/or take two or three attempts to back up to a car. One incident a year or two ago they already had workers on the back of the truck and didn't roll immediately. The reason- had to wait for another worker(?) to run out of the Port a Let!

I will say that at least they can be entertaining.

#1 Brad Kuhn Fan, did you mean to say more talent than money. I ask that because I know the 98 team was pretty much a no budget race team.

This is just an unfortunate situation. That said I root for both Chad in the Landen Simon ride and the Memmer/Gatten collaboration.

Lot's of good runs but none more impressive than Hunter. He was a rocket ship as you could imagine. In the latter stages of the race Chad kept him in his sights and made him earn the victory.

Other good drives was Memmer whose drive from the ninth row to the front was, well, conservative for John Memmer. Brett Burdette started at the front, fell back early but battled back for a good finish.

Brady Short proves he is only human at Lawrenceburg having a rare off night.

Our hearts go out to the Soudrette family. No matter the situation whether expected or not the death of their father/grandfather is a tough loss. The Speedway honored him with a moment of silence prior to the invocation and National Anthem.

It's all Memmers stuff now he tore up all that was used from the original 98. Blew the motor one night and junked the car the next weekend.

I would like to thank all of you for your condolences. Tom Soudrette was a true racer through and through. I heard a new story every time I met a new face in the pits. Some say he was ahead of his time. I just know that he was a great man and will be missed surely.

If anyone would like info on the arrangements this week please PM me.

Thank you again,
Jason Soudrette

I don't like it when well meaning people say, "I know how you feel." To me, that's impossible.

But Jason, I can at least relate. At my dad's viewing I heard from lots of people who knew my dad. He died at my present age, 60, and yes, you can say that it seems like many folks do pass on before their time.

I may not know how you feel, bud, I can say that I have an idea.

And now? You may always have some grief, but it will be tempered by some good memories. It's worked for me these past 24 years.

May God bless you and your family.
