"The Return of MSCS To Putnamville" Tonight at LPS!

MSCS Returns to LPS after a looooong absence!

This month the Hoosier Tire Midwest Sprint Car Series will have just one race. That is the long awaited return of the series to the Lincoln Park Speedway in Putnamville, IN. The 5/16 mile oval has not held an MSCS sanctioned race since 2003. That was the third season for what was then a relative new series. The MSCS Champion that season was Hud Cone of Oakland City, IN. Hud had two feature wins that season and a top five finish in one of the two features held at Lincoln Park Speedway. Both of those 2003 features at Lincoln Park were won by Jimmy Laser.

According to his facebook page, Robert Ballou will be at LPS tonight, hoping to bring home $3000.

Hope the rain holds off, making the trip over from Aurora instead of staying close to home and going to the Burg. Hope this is as good as I anticipate it's going to be.

Does MSCS format use passing points for feature lineup?

Top 16 in passing pts are locked in a main and top 6 redraw for the A main

B Fitz 4th Cummins 5th Hendrick(from the B!) 6th Christian 7th I might have missed Gentry in there somewhere he ran w/the leaders all night.DD ended up somewhere around 11 or 12th from the back

Congrats to Shuman and the 21X team that car was flyin. Also a great run for Hendricks in the 68, great run from the B to 6th. If there were a couple more laps he would have been in 4th he was all over the 4-5 guys. Hope Shu can find a steady ride he has been runnin very well lately.
