I'm pretty sure this is his last day of work. He now goes from being an old fart to joining Marv as a retired old fart. I'm jealous. :D

You're gonna love it my friend. Only drawbacks are that it doesn't pay worth a darn and that you have to be "an old fart" to get it, but all in all retirement is a pretty good gig.

Bump.....thanks all for the well wishes and even the jabs. :D

The alarm clock is also taking a well deserved rest. Few events will be planned for the A.M.

Today went very well. We went to our usual eating place out at the airport, wasted time on the computer, ran errands, watched some racing I'd recorded, and then turned it up a notch by trimming and mowing the yard with the big John Deere, iPod turned up really loud. Relzed on the patio with the newspaper, a cold drink endorsed by Bob Clauson and my faithful 4 legged companion watching my every move.

Tomorrow, fill out some papers, write a column for Mr. Hosehead and maybe squeeze in a nap. Might call Marv, Dave or some of the other old farts and see how they are coping.

For the time being it will be nice to be one of the younger retirees in this crowd. :6:
