Dodge City sign in/qualifying order attached - only 20 cars, about 6 of which are 360's

notably absent - Clauson, Walker cars & Coleman Gulick

Sounds like everyone will be making the feature tonight

Also, looks like Wes McIntyre and Casey Riggs went home, too. And no more Clayton/Yeley combo. Hats off to the Stasa brothers. Those guys support EVERYTHING that comes out that way. TNT, USAC, etc. It's too bad there aren't more drivers in that part of the country like them. Travis Rilat, too.

there are 17 local guys pre registered to run Grain Valley Sunday night. Mostly 360s and a few 305s and 410's but they are looking forward to it and the promoter has worked his tail off on the show Sunday night.

Grain valley is the only track with weekly non wing racing within hundreds of miles and we hope everyone shows their appreciation of his efforts

You can really tell by your posts over the last week that the people around this track are really trying to make this a successful race. Tracks like this one deserve to have big shows come to them.:8:

Dodge City is a pretty good looking place and the track seems to have held up rather well. There seems to be plenty of room to pass, too. I think once you have everybody all out there, there's a good chance we'll have a real good race. Except they need to spray that door hinge in the booth with some WD-40.

That was a hell of a race!!

Hud Cone led for more than half the race and held off great charges from Hines and Stanbrough. Many great aggressive moves, lap after lap, by him. Bloom was also on the gas and was in the top 5 almost all of the race, until the last lap, when he got upside down (looked to be OK). There were so many laps that all of the top 5 were just all over one another. This track kicked ass tonight!!

They all had to get through the lapped traffic. The top 5 or 6 cars battling each other, at the same time they were weaving in and out of backmarkers is what really made this thing amazing to watch.

Bryan after Bloom flipped think Hud was 5th

Another great race that didn't have a big car count. You just have to have the right ones and great track prep. Those are two things we had, tonight.

This track was built buy a non wing racing fellow and usac officale. Also a good friend of mine the late gary skola.
