Hoosier Sprint Nationals

Looking forward to Saturday's Hoosier Sprint Nationals at Haubstadt. Heard Levi Jones will be in attendance in the Jack Rogers #57. I would expect Brady Short, Casey Riggs, Blake and Braylon Fitzpatrick, Chase Briscoe, Mark Perry III, Kyle Cummins, Chase Stockon, Kent Schmidt and Critter Malone to be there as well.

Anyone heard whether Ballou, Clayton, Gardner and Stanbrough will make the trip.

Five thousand bucks always makes good bait for big hitters. There's been a couple of years that the Hoosier Sprint Nationals were on just about everyone's race of the year list. I see on another thread that Pete Gulick says that's where Coleman will probably end up going, Saturday. It always kicks things up a few notches when you see that orange car roll out to wheel pack.

I wonder if Clauson will be there? Maybe Jerry Coons Jr. in the 2B?

I'll be there . It will be a lot better then taxi cabs at Raceway Park. They don't do this on pavement.

USAC Midgets are running IRP the 28 and 29th Haubstadt is on the 30th so BC could make it and not miss any USAC races :6:

Yes, but the Belleville Midget Nationals are next weekend and a few of those guys like to race their way out there. This weekend is part of POWRI's Midget Money Week and the feature Saturday night at McCool Junction, Nebraska pays $12,500.

$2,000

Re: Hoosier Sprint Nationals

I figured Daron would have to run someone else's car because Hoffmans would run really anything outside of USAC schedule. Its to bad because they stand a good chance with DC behind the wheel to take the 5K

well walker had ran haubstadt alot the last few years so if he brings cottle he might as well throw clayton in other car and double his chances :2:

That sounds like a damn good plan! Clayton won a sprint week race at TSS in a Walker car a few years ago

You're correct Jim. I found a video of it on Youtube posted below. It was in 2007 Daron beat Stenhouse and Darland won the Sprint Week Championship.

All three engines are being freshened to finish the season so we don't have one available for this weekend.
