Wait, you expect the Chargers to be in the post season and Sanders to make a full game.....what are you smoking?

Especially with this guy coaching them?

Only thing going for them is that they are in the AFC West.

Chris Nunn 7/25/11 6:53 PM

Go packers.

Giants ! what would we have done if there was no football, yuck. I'd love to see Manning vs Manning in superbowl.

While I have no knowledge of, nor interest in, the game to which you allude, I am reliably informed by certain of my grandchildren that you all are setting yourselves up for severe disappointment at the hands of the local team, which seems to live somewhere in the wilderness between Boston and Providence.

I spent three weeks in NOLA on three separate occasions, two of which where during NFL season or right after the SB win they had. I proudly wore my Colts stuff, will admit, was wondering if people would say something when I did it the first time, they never did. Did learn the most annoying phrase in the world, "who dat".

Bear down Chicago Bears
Make every play lead the way to victory
Bear down Chicago Bears
Put up a fight with a might so fearlessly
We'll never forget the way you thrilled the nation
With your T formation
Bear down Chicago Bears
And let them know why you wear the crown
You're the pride and joy of Illinois
Chicago Bears, bear down

Buccaneers! I like them cause I like their uniforms. Just couldn't root for the Bills after Marv Levi left and that Greg Williams took over (grew up in upstate NY), so I had to pick a new team in the 90's, been a Bucs fan ever since. 2003 was a great year, Bucs won the super bowl and the Syracuse Orange won the NCAA Tournament.

Back before Tim Russert passed away, I read his book "Big Russ and Me". Ever since then, I've had a real respect for Bills fans. Those are some grass roots, true blue football fans, there. Buffalo seems like it would be a good place to grow up.

I am just happy we do get to have Football I don't know what I would do on Sundays and Monday night! I have always had it every year and played it in School! Glad as Hell we can root for our favorite teams and argue a little about who's team is better year after year that's whats so great!

Then Fantasy Football is pretty cool to I done it a few years too! I thought for a good while watching Football this year would just be a Fantasy!

Again Go Colts!

BTW, anyone in Terre Haute, sorry you are out of luck for NFC games if you only get WTHI, WTWO and WFXW and don't have cable. Come September 1st, the Fox station (WFXW) will switch from Fox to ABC.

That doesn't apply to Dish Network customers, though. If you have the networks package and you don't have a local affiliate of any of the networks, they'll assign a station somewhere in the area, so you'll have that network. That's how they currently do with ABC.

The Lions are my team and have been for many years. I think they have finally started to turn the team around. They were definitely the winners of the NFL Draft thats for sure :6: :8:

The last two drafts. By the end of his rookie season Ndamukong Suh might have already developed into the best d-lineman in the game. He's a freak of nature to be that strong and that quick at the same time. And then the new guy Nick Fairley, is almost as scary. The times I watched Auburn play, their opponents had to deal with that guy just about every play. He has such a motor and was a seriously disruptive force. That line is becoming the envy of the league, let alone the NFC North.
