What to do with Sprintweek?

I personally think Twin Cities Raceway Park, Lincoln Park, and Paragon deserve to get back on the Sprintweek trail. All of these tracks were apart of it for years until recently and I believe Paragon was also apart of those early Winged years too. I think adding all of them would be too much. Atleast 2 tracks would have to go. Which two??

They can start by ditching Brownstown. It's not a sprint track. Give their date to either Paragon or Putnamville. TCRP isn't a sprint track either and doesn't need an ISW race. As a fan I would like to see those two tracks with such a rich history of sprint car racing get an ISW race instead of a late model track.

That would be an easy one for me Ditch Lawrenceburg and Brownstown and pick up Putnamville and Paragon.

When paragon can enjoy the company of 20 campers, then maybe they should be considered in the conversation for the company of 120 campers:23:.This isn't sprint week 1996 were some of the drivers parents have motor homes or campers 20% of fans have campers.I would love to see sprint week back at NV and put:32:

Re: What to do with Sprintweek?

why not add one and take one out in a rotation make it one of the week day shows and as far as paragon goes love the track and the history but they need to improve the stands i know it was part of the start of sprintweek but do we need to set on the same wood as the first sprintweek goers sat on just my opinion

no but you can hold a race paying a lot lower purse and call it a sprint week race

Fresh off TJ Slideways- "When it comes to describing not only the Kings Royal, but Eldora Speedway in general, there are two words that do it best – Earl Baltes. The legendary Baltes, with absolutely no background in the auto racing business, carved a dirt oval out of one his cornfields in the Fall of 1953 and then in June of 1954 presented his first race." Now you're thinkin' :6:

We need to get NE Indiana some dates. We could throw dirt on Angola & Baer Field and also reconfigure the track at the Noble County Fairgrounds (Kendallville) and make it ISWeeks.

Always liked Put. even in bad times and never really seen a bad sprint race at N.V. N.V. just needs some safety upgrades of catch fencing for one.

I'll go out on a limb and say that Chris is saying that Brownstown just might be suitable for a sprint car race.

Further out on that limb, I'll tend to agree. Brady Short was about 5th with 5 or 6 laps to go last year.

True, they looked like they were in slow motion, but people could pass and on the next lap they'd be re-passed.

I vote for Florence Speedway in Kentucky and Moler Speedway in Ohio and we can call in Tri-State Sprintweek. :5::17:

I am waiting with my:44: for someone to say that Union County should have a race.

Seriously, shouldn't a major factor in holding a ISW race be that the place has seats for the butts that will be in them? (It should also be a requirement that the seats aren't in danger
of breaking in half when loaded with butts.)
