Anything to do in Kokomo?
 

The wife doesn't want to sit at the track all day on saturday so she is looking for something to do up until 3-4pm. What is even in kokomo worth doing? We will have our 19 month son with us, Any good places to eat and see. The only reason I ever go to Kokomo is for the track.

Check out the Kokomo Beach (public waterpark) on Saturday before heading to the track. http://www.cityofkokomo.org/main.asp...bSectionID=108

Kokomo also has two (2) malls located on US 31 and has numerous places to eat.

Just south of town on US 31 there is a go-kart and batting cage facility -- if you're heading North on US 31 heading into town it will be on the right-hand side near an Arby's, Subway, etc.

Grissom air force base about ten miles north on 31 has a nice little museum indoor and outdoor displays. Its not Wright patterson but still pretty nice.

You could always drive around and stop at every light.

That town has more lights than Chicago

And at almost every light, you can stop at a Soupley's Liquor store.

Another claim to fame in Kokomo is we have the most topless nudie bars here as well, I believe we have 6 or 7 here lol

Wait a second here I live in Evansville are as truckers say STOP LIGHT CITY. now you guys are saying Kokomo is stop light city ? No way lol:2:

James Dean museum in Fairmount just south of Gas City. Cool place for the ladies. somethin else to do...

Thanks for all the replies, I think we are going to go heat Kokomo Beach and cool off for a bit before heading to the track. May have to stop and get some ice cream on the way.
