I think there might have been one, but that would have been it.

It seems that live streaming went away all the time when Dean left USAC. Of course Dean used his own camera and possibly his own phone for internet.

Congrats to the Irish "Killer B Boys"...

Does anyone have the final run down? Thanks...

hoosierfan 6/19/11 9:39 PM

Great run by Braylon, he ran 25 good laps in which very few was he not under heavy pressure from Windom and at times Windom Blake and Jon.

All I can say is what a race!!! That was breath taking, on the edge of the seat racing! Can't wait until next Sunday. Braylon deserved to win after the way he handled the attacks of Windom all race long.

Really cool to see the Fitz brothers go 1, 2.
Even cooler to see JJ Hughes take a moment for a young boy by giving and signing a shirt. I don't know the circumstances of the occasion, but that young boy was JJ's biggest fan on the backstretch.

That is what I loved about infield pitting at THAT. I loved seeing all the kids along the fence line and caution tape watching the drivers and crew members wrench. I have also heard a story about Jesse Hocket or Robert Ballou playing frisbee with someone on the infield. This stuff is what makes the next generation of sprint car fans that this sport needs. Shame that insurance or risk stopped the pitting on the infield (I know some drivers hated it, but fans loved it).

Re: Kokomo updates

I have to agree with a couple previous posts. Braylon is going to be a heck of a wheel man. I have been following him in results but have yet to see him drive in person so I cant speak on that really but a few videos Ive seen he has looked pretty good. Especially for 15!!!:18::18:

terrehautian 6/19/11 11:26 PM

Re: Kokomo updates

He is only 15? Wow, I imagine we will see him on the tv one of these days if he is only improving on driving.

Another great night at Kokomo. The top 5 finishers were all in the mix at various times during the feature. Braylon did an exceptional job of holding off first Windom and then his brother late. The evening ran very smoothly and the sprint feature, which was the second one run, was done before 10:00 PM. The track crew led by Reece O'Connor did their normal outstanding job preparing the surface this evening. A quick re-work allowed for the sprint cars to shine.:6:

I can only imagine what Kokomo's track is like after the O'conners prepared the Action Track last year. It was the best I had ever seen the track.

Speedracer 6/19/11 11:32 PM

so i've watched my video. Damn that was a great feature! Very cool that the brothers got one two.

Extra $100 dollars for the hard charger was nice. Thanks everybody for all your support. We new it was going to be a good night when we had to rewrite a second check because somebody paid our way in. You want to help your favorite driver, pay his or her way in sometime it will make a difference.

The sun is shining in Hawaii. :22:

Re: Kokomo updates

At a race last year at Bloomington, Braylon didn't make it out of the B-main, and came over to the hill to watch the rest of the night. I couldn't believe that a kid that looked young enough that he could have been dating my 12 year old daughter was gassing that car as hard as he was. :18: Him and Blake both are tremendous talents.
