All my votes are for Daron Clayton!!!! He is the reason we like to watch the sprint cars. Always hard on the gas. Every day my votes are for the #92 and we want to see him in the new colors, can't wait.

Better get out there and vote, Modern Day Cowboy fans, looks like the copy cat could win. He's pulled out to a lead on DC.

If the copy cat is Danny Pollock, ill definitely vote for the copy cat.

I love Daron, I really do, but hes got a top notch ride right now while another driver (Pollock) is sitting at home, when he SHOULD be racing.

I was vote 1750 for MDC today. I'll admit, I was slacking for a few days...ugh!

I've seen all these posts from the beginning for both guys and I like them both. However I do hope you read the rules......if you read the official rules on the page it clearly says the votes only make up 20% of the decision - its not solely based on votes....And it also says that the maximum any one person will win is $4000 and the average winner will get $1200.....so.....won't you put yourself in the hole promising the paint job and the suit and everything else for all that? Can you do all that on $4k? Just curious.....didn't know what paint and a suit went for. If you can put a car together for all that why is there always complaints that it's so expensive?

The name of the promotion is "PRILOSEC OTC® "THE OFFICIAL SPONSOR OF EVERYTHING YOU DO WITHOUT HEARTBURN" PROMOTION (The "Promotion")"

I say this because it sure seems like a few poeple have heartburn.

Here is the fine print...

#5 JUDGING TO DETERMINE THE AWARD RECIPIENTS: All eligible entries will be judged by a Sponsor-specified panel of experts whose decisions are final on all matters relating this promotion to determine up to a maximum of 160 award recipients (up to a maximum of 40 in each entry period). The amount of the award provided will be solely determined by the judges based on the overall application of each award recipient. See Rule #6 for complete award details. Awards will be determined using the following criteria:

• Ability to convey your passion—(25%)
• Originality & Creativity in all application submission materials—(25%)
• Number of eligible votes received from the voting community—(20%)
• Ability to convey how you would tell others you were officially sponsored by Prilosec OTC®—(15%)
• Overall appropriateness of application submission to the brand image as determined by judges—(15%)

In the event of a tie, the tie will be broken based on the highest score for Ability to convey your passion.

#6 AWARDS: Up to a maximum of 160 cash awards to further your passion (up to a maximum of 40 for each entry period) with up to a total approximate retail value of $192,000 will be awarded. The average value of each award is $1,200. The award will be provided in the form of a check or gift card to be used towards the item(s) requested in entrant's application submission, as determined in Sponsor's sole and exclusive discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute an award of equal or greater value at its sole discretion. No individual award will exceed $4,000 in value. The total approximate retail value is based on awarding 160 awards. A minimum of 48 awards with a maximum value of $4,000 each will be awarded. At least one award will be granted in each entry period. Award recipients will be notified and awards fulfilled by no later than 9/30/11. The full and entire extent of the award is the amount awarded in this Section 6. All federal, state, and local taxes, as well as all costs, expenses, fees, and liabilities—even if contemplated in or described by in the award recipient's Submission Materials—are the sole and exclusive responsibility of the award recipient. Limit one award per family/household. Awards consist of only the items specifically listed as part of the award.
------------------------

Now, I don't doubt that in fact this could be very helpful... but can you imagine seeing a big ole Prilosec truck backin up to your house... You ask... What is that? and then the guy in the truck says "It's your $4000 worth of heartburn medication"

Re: Don:t forget to vote for MDC

We were originally under the impression that one person would win and recieve all the sponsorship money, not that it would be split up between a ton of people. When we started this sponsorship quest we had all the equipment needed, just needed help with tires, parts, etc. If we could do well at a few races, the hope would be that we could continue to fund our operation on a race by race basis. One hope that we had would be that we could keep prilosec interested in sponsoring non-wing sprint cars and keep a good partnership going with them. This would not fund a new operation but just keep what we had going. At that point we had no other financial help and anything we could get would have been beneficial even if it was a small amount. Without a little help, Daron would not have been able to race more than a few races with what we had saved up. Things have definitely turned around for him and we are so pleased he has the opportunity he has right now. Thank you so much to everyone who voted for him. It means a lot to see his fans trying to help him out and get him back on the track! :6::8::9:

Thank you Chris and others that have class on here!

I hate seeing Jerry who has always had nice things to say make a rude comment like that!

This copy cat wants nothing more than to race if you raced Sprints you would understand why!

The sad part is Daron and I are friends we chat on FB about more than just racing!

Fact is I have voted for him and he has voted for me and I still do plus all you so called Clayton fans have let him down by slowing down on votes!

I on they other hand must be the better man than you guys because I posted on here the other day to vote for him cause of your slacking!

I want us both out there I went and posted on Daron's and Shelly's facebook to vote for him and I am up against him!

So try showing some class on here guys!

FYI FOLKS I HAVE PASSED HIM BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN ON THIS PC FROM WHEN I WAKE UP UNTIL I SLEEP FINDING VOTERS BECAUSE GOING RACING MEANS MORE TO ME THAN ANYTHING PERIOD!!!!!

So Thanks for the people who do vote for me AKA (copy cat)

I really don't like that name since my nick name has been Wheels After my near fatal ATV accident!

Thanks good guys here! Good luck Daron

I did talk to a winner from round 5 votes it was a sprint car driver and did not get 4000 and had most votes and they sent out all info required and all they want is a little decal they send and to blog on their site about what your doing with your sponsorship!

Hijacked post???

I will set things straight Jim I will defend myself from bashers as you read my previous reply and I support Clayton as it said if you even read it!

A hijack post would be me coming in asking for votes for just me!

I have posted for myself and out with bashing me there too from the Clayton fans and Daron even told me he did not like they way you treat me on here!

So be like you are! Do not anyone here vote for me ever again I need no votes here I can win with out you bashers!

The copy cat!
