I just need to know so I can figure out what is best for us. He knows the payout but for some reason wont post it. We were planning on running there some this year, but this could change our mind...

You should be going there to win and only worry what it pays. If you go to the track thinking your not going to win then you never will.

It's not that they're going to the track expecting not to win, it's that sometimes things don't always go as planned at the track and it's nice to have an idea of how much each position pays. I don't think that's too much to ask.

I understand that side to. I was just supporting the guy to go where he thinks the best chance for him to get a win is at.

Off the top of my head I know Bloomington, Lawrenceburg, Kokomo, Brownstown & Waynesfield all post their payout on their website. They must all be part of the 1% that do.

Re: Payout for Paragon this weekend

The only reason we ask so we can weigh our opitions. We know what it pays at Gas City and Putnamville so this will help us make our decision on where to run. Everyone goes to the track to win, but knowing start money and approx the payout helps a racer decide if its the best opition. Thank you to the MSCS guys for posting their payout, as its looking like thats an opition now that we know that payout...

We know the payout bc we race there....point is, we are thinking about Running Paragon, but why should we when we ask a question about the purse we cant get answer. We just want to see if its a good deal to not run at LPS and run there...

Point is, is that the complete purse and payout is known, but it is just not being shared by the promoter. I don't think that it is too much to ask now is it?

I agree with kcarm92, he's been racing there alot longer than i have
( no insult intended) and i've never seen anywhere a payout for a normal saturday night show in a long time. The only purse structure i've seen, not including special shows, is when Mr. Spiker raised the sprint car feature winner $$$$.
