Looks like by Gulick not transferring, the pole sitter will be the 7th fastest qualifier, which is, you'll never guess.

Car checked up on us. We had no where to go and the shaft in the shock snaped. We are starting 6th in bmain. Which is next.

Just curious, No bashing or complaining intended....
If DD was 5th quick why isn't he front row outside?:11:
I'm sure there is a logical explaination. Thanks!

If he was 5th quick he should be outside front row. Maybe they did a re-draw of the top qualifiers? Not the normal USAC procedure though.

Forget that thought. When the Iceman didn't transfer out of his heat to the feature, that brought Levi into the mix as the seventh fastest qualifier. Thus he would be on the pole with Hines-6th fastest next to him. I hope that helps.

It was an awesome race. I am not one of those who is sold on the winged versus non-winged debate (I know, wrong forum) but that was a great race. Grandview is an awesome track for those that have never been.

Broken brake rotor. Tough finish to a very good night. Track record in some very good company.

I know clayton spun early in the race and then i seen him i think 9th...with 9 to go...just looked at final results he finished 17th....anybody know what happened

DIRT-TRACK-JUNKIE 6/1/11 12:24 PM

Clayton spun out again, sounded like a pretty good race with Windom, Ballou, and Shuman coming from the back to 2nd 3rd and 4th

Well I hate to hear that I hope Daron and Hoffman's get it going good for the finishes' cause he is Qualifying fast and transfers out of the heat races just not good feature results! I think they should put him in a 4 bar car and he will be better just my 2 cents! Best of Luck Daron!

Also what happened to Claytons voters just because he went east don't mean stop voting I have seen it slow down a lot I vote for him I want us both sponsored and they will so vote for him too! Just don't pass me back! lol

My Home track of Grandview had a good 2 grooved surface for the feature. A lot of passing, no follow the leader train racing.

TeamCGR 6/1/11 3:23 PM

Patti, we had a brake caliber freeze when we had to stop quick for a spin. Sheared the bolts off the rotor. Real fast up to that point. Thanks for asking. Pete.

Thanks Pete, He was very fast from what I saw following along on line, then in the feature all they said was he stopped on the track and pulled off. I was hoping it was nothing that would keep him from running the rest of the races. Good luck the rest of the week. Tell Jill I said hi.
