1000cc Mini Sprints, Where are you racing?

OK....where is everyone planning on racing this weekend assuming it doesn't rain.

The MMSA is at Paragon.
The AMSA is at KC.
Waynesfield has their own show.
Twin Cities has the 1000cc on their schedule.

I am sure the AMSA and MMSA will have their regulars. Where is everyone else going?

If I thought Twin Cities would have a decent car count we would go there. For us it's half the drive of the other locations and with gas over $4/gal that just makes sense. Not sure about this one though as I have no idea what to expect at TC.

Thanks to Ron Coleman, the Chattan Loch Bistro and Public House in Bellefontaine, Ohio has added $150 to the winners share at Waynesfield for this Saturday's weekly program, making it $500 to win. Weather permitting, of course.

Wherever everyone decides to run, good luck this weekend. Sounds like we all might need to make an offering to the rain gods so we can race somewhere.

With the chance of rain Waynesfield be the best shot at racing. After the try they gave it last week they don’t seem to be afraid of little rain.

I think we are going to give Waynesfield a shot. I can't see a scenario where there is much of a car count at Twin Cities.

Do the Indiana tracks allow oil cooled 1200"s ? I have a older car with a 1200 in it. It really would make no sense not allowing the older engines, cause that might be what we older folks have. The promoter of Accord in NY will allow me to run with his 1000 class. We were thinking of towing to indiana and running two weekends, of nonwing. financially that couldnt happen till fall. If and when we could go then I'll call so promoters to ask.

Anybody have an extra 1000 thats running with MMSA that would be interested in renting it out for some races? I ran karts for about 5 years and then drove 600's for about 4 years but this will be my 3rd season of not running anything.Would like to try my hand at the 1000's on the 1/4 miles.

Hey Phil
How about coming to Paragon and racing with us. Very fun track, I think you will like it. Wish you could have made it to Brownstown for the Non wing race, It was smooth, very nice track.

Hey Mike,

We considered Brownstown but I didn't think there was any chance the racing would happen last weekend with that weather forecast. I guess you guys got lucky.

We have not been to Paragon, I'll need to look into that.....right now I am not sure what we are going to do on Saturday.

Wow!.....that's an easy one, sort of like Lawrenceburg for us, 15 min away.

Looks like we are headed to KC, weather permitting of course.

Paragon may stay dry, looks like most of that rain may go east..!

I admire your enthusiasm but it looks to me like Paragon is going to get hit around 2:00.

This front is swirling in circles counter-clockwise picking up more moisture as it moves.....it's going to be another boring, rainy weekend.

looks like its going to stay dry for paragon maybe a pop up but according to the local radar the rain to the west is going away !! stay positive!!!!

Good luck.....We're leaving the car in the garage for another week. Hopefully we'll have better weather for L'Burg next weekend.
