According to facebook 2010 MSCS runner up Chase Stockon will pass on usac and throw the wing on at Haubstadt. Bill Rose is another name that seems to be coming up a lot in the WoO results. Last year Chase Briscoe fell 1 spot short of the transfer. My understanding was that Kurt Gross planned on running this race last fall but got upside down the night before at Ponderosa. Other names that have been at the Haubstadt WoO race in the last few years include Bland, Clayton, and Memmer (but I'm not sure any of these guys have a car yet).

I don't look for Clayton to be there. He hasn't got his non wing car to the track yet. On a brighter note there has been a lot of activity at the track the last few day between rain showers.

Yes, a new 410 Winged Sprint series based out of Springfield, IL ... http://midwestopenwheel.com/ They ran their very first race at 34 Raceway in Iowa this last weekend and it looked like they had a good turn out. "The Dude" won the race.

I think you're wrong. with two awesome days of weather Friday and Saturday Tommy will have plenty of time to get the track in racing condition.

I got info about Bill Rose from one of his wrenches, and Bill did sign on with the Outlaws for entire season...that's why he is popping up so much in their results.

im for certain if we dont see another drop of rain before the checkered flag we will race saturday but thats a big if on the rain! suppose to be windy the next two days and sun on friday. everyone have a great weekend and hopefully you will get to see a race somewhere this weekend!

Corey I just left the track. Tommy and crew are working on the track surface right now. Check the Tri-State Speedway facebook page and website for updates. As we speak all systems are a go.

Its race day at TSS. The local weather man said rain will come after midnight. So, hope he is right and we can see sprints.

Got this from their page about an hour ago.
"Track conditions are fine. Parking lot still very wet in some areas but the officers will be here to get you safely parked. Come join us for our opening race!"

Brad Sweet looked pretty fast at times. But, he got in a few bumps and didn't have the result. Rose and May stayed about mid pack and had a nice battle. Of our regular non wing guys Stockon was the only one to run all the laps. For the most part he could hang with them on the tail. Ty Deckard's night ended when he jumped over the back end of a stopped car. briscoe and Gross both pulled off early in the A.
