HARF day at 'The Burg'
 

According to my personal e-mail from the fine folks at H.A.R.F. this Saturday's show at the 'Burg is still a H.A.R.F. date. I'm not a paid spokesperson for the club, just a proud member. But race fans should really look into joining. Not only is it a great club, it has a long list of races you can attend for discounted prices. Some as much as 50% off and some are free! Looking to save some cash in these hard times and still be able to attend some races, this is a no-brainer. I've been a member since the 80's and have always received a free ticket for Indy time trials every year. Even if this isn't your cup of tea, it's open wheel and it's FREE. Got your investment back right there.

A big thanks to Dave Rudisell of Lawrenceburg Speedway for not only rescheduling the event, but keepinig it a H.A.R.F. date as well. Class act and I can't wait to go...Hoping Mother Nature co-operates, so far lookin' good.

Thats right!! Free admission to the USAC race this weekend at Lawrenceburg if you are a HARF, DARF or BARC member. Just bring i'd and membership card and your in for FREE!! You can also upgrade at turn 4 four gate for a $10 for a pit pass. See you all Saturday

Guys, This is the ticket right here. HARF, DARF and BARC, Three great long time Auto Racing clubs. In Addition to the Racing discounts and dates. There are also Banquets, And most importantly, Some have tours in the off season of some of the most amazing collections and private Hobbiest out there mostly related to Auto Racing. :)

I'm hearing quite a few rumors and seeing posts on facebook saying that Saturday at the Burg has already been cancelled. Maybe Dave can confirm? If USAC has cancelled will they be doing a regular show?

I have seen it now from 4 different people on Facebook within the last hour and have heard via text that USAC sent a message saying it was cancelled this weekend. So unless they (USAC) accidentally sent last weeks message out again thats the rumor running wild on Facebook and through some friends of mine that gets messages from USAC workers.

Fairground Flooding has shut down access to Lawrenceburg, Ind. Speedway.



The April 30th AMSOIL USAC National Sprint Car race has been Cancelled.



The City of Lawrenceburg has deemed the Lawrenceburg Fairgrounds and entry ways to the Lawrenceburg Speedway inaccessible due to the current flooding waters and condition of the roadways and parking areas.



Lawrenceburg Speedway and the City of Lawrenceburg apologize for the inconvenience to everyone, but rising river waters and acts of mother nature are beyond our control.



Friday night's AMSOIL USAC National Sprint race at Gas City I-69 Speedway and Sunday night's AMSOIL USAC National Sprint race at Kokomo Speedway remain on this weekend's calendar.

This stinks! Hate this for you guys Dave! I was hoping it was just a bad rumor and that if it were true you could still pull off a local show. Thanks for doing everything you could to try to make it happen. Mother Nature is stalking the racers I'm convinced!
