Time for drivers meeting, track is almost rolled in.

41 Sprint Cars at LPS - Great Crowd - Hot Laps going on now - took a while to run the track in. No qualifying tonight because of the delay.
Hinchman Hero and Hotdog Qualifying has been postponed TBA because of the tonights delay. I will keep you posted on the heat races when they get started. |
I will add the place is packed.

Racing is great, but watching the tow trucks and push trucks slide around track and infield is almost as good.

Start of heat 1 - bad crash on first lap 4 cars involved - Jonathon Venard, Seth Parker, Keith Bloom and I am not sure of the last one. Ambulance is stuck in turn 3 all the way to the axles.

The sprint did not get a lap scored. Also turn 1 has a good size bump in it.

Wreck wasn't bad. Track was extremely soft and then the ambulance got stuck going to the wreck. Took 5 min. to get it out(I have it on video) then they ran the

I am out wanted to stay for the feature but not stay really late. A bunch of racers broke things heat lapping. Many who did finish are not going to run the feature according one person I talked to.

The qualifying he's talking about was "Hero & Hotdog Qualifying." It was just for cash, not for line-ups. Line-ups were by draw.
