I got to see a launch about 15 years ago (or more) and it was awesome. I wasn't actually at the Space center or anywhere near it, I was in Lakeland at my grandparents place they had down there.

According to the noon news report there are only two more shuttle launches after this one...April 19 and June 28.

Like I said in a different thread that majically disappeared, Duke's no angel, but that's no reason for the Mods to let people blatantly break forum rules:

3. No personal attacks of any kind against a member, or group of members. Having a difference of opinion is fine, but if it gets out of hand and turns into a fight to get the biggest jab at the other person, then its gone too far.

It's to the point that the 'usual suspects' discuss who they thought would be the first with a cocky comment just to aggervate him..............

The other issue that Duke starts things also. In fact, he been banned from this board more then once. He comes back, and might be good for a while, but reverts back to normal self.

I wasn't even making a comment towards him and he said something to me.

If the above rule is to be enforced, Mr Cook should be the first to be booted & banned. His private messages are always filled with the most vile and profane DIRECT personal attacks, name calling and threats....It's almost sad.

You 'thank' somebody who posted that 'It took a blimp ride for Duke to go fast in something'. Yet, In the 'Sammy' thread you even admitted that you knew nothing about his career. So which is it. Do you know anything about his career, or are you a follower trying to fit into a group of people who bash him?

You're another good one to talk, Just about any time Duke posts anything, you pop off to him also. Then when he fires back at you, you say he's out of line.

Sorry, I don't know anything about any PMs he supposedly sends you....because -they are private- and aren't posted on the public forum.

I didn't see any rules regarding civility in PMs. Maybe you should request such a rule?

I think we should all grow up, do you really think this is what Bill had in mind when he set this site up for ALL OF US. At this point in Bill's life the added stress is the last thing he needs.

Now all of you go to your room and think about it for awhile.

I never said I was innocent. But in this thread, he started it. I admit, I don't research drivers, don't care to. As for bashing him, threads have been deleted with him attacking people on personal levels (not even anything related to racing {and no, I won't go into details} and PM's {which I have gotten from him before}.

I try to not do it, but sometimes things get said where you have scratch your head what he meant.

Considering things going on now, I won't be posting anything attacking him. Heck, I even commented (without personal attacks {space shuttle launch I seen}) on his threads.
