Hoffman Racing on Radio
Hey guys, tonight (3/30/08) on 700WLW AM in Cincinnati, the Hoffman Racing Team (owners for driver: Jerry Coons Jr.) will be on the "Seg Dennison Racing Report" from 7-9:00pm EDT. This show is typically a NASCAR deal with limited mention of other types of racing. WLW can be heard in 38 states and, they also have an XM broadcast but, I don't know the number. Locally, you can call in at (513)749-7000. If you are outside of the Cincinnati Area it's 800-843-2441. Any call-ins will be very helpful in getting more openwheel sprint car coverage in the Midwest and on this show in particular. So, think of a question for the Hoffmans and call in tonight!!!! If you can't think of a question at least call in and praise the shows hosts for having the Hoffmans on and discussing sprint car racing for a change!
Thanks!!!! |

Re: Hoffman Racing on Radio
Well Craig and I got thru. I never got to hear the response to my questions and comments but I was supporting the sport, the Hoffmans and trying to get some more people to get involved.
A caller after me did a much better job, Just describing the action of the sport. (Dave Rose) and thanks for the comments on my comments :) Chuck, who thought Craigs questions were very good :) |
Re: Hoffman Racing on Radio
Thanks for calling in, Chuck. They gave quite a bit of positive feedback to the points you made. Great job! Callers pretty much filled up the whole 2nd hour of the show so, I think it was very successful.

Re: Hoffman Racing on Radio
boy they stepped on their johnson buy saying the pat patrick that owned indy cars was the same pat patrick that raced at florence speedway. cecil, i think our neighbor won a lot more races than that indy guy.

Re: Hoffman Racing on Radio
Thanks to all who called in. The hosts were dumbfounded by the amount of phone calls and the lack of NASCAR calls.
I don't know a whole lot about LM racing but I do know who Pat Patrick is. I was shaking my head "no" to that question but one of the hosts said it was the same guy and then cut the caller off! Thanks again to the IOWers out there that called in. Rob Hoffman |

Greets, HAR Plans, Value and excitement of the sport. Thanks for doing this HAR. IT be nice if Seg man would get some other local tracks promotors ect on like at least once every two months. Chuck |
Re: Hoffman Racing on Radio
Here's what we need:
The Hoffman Racing Report, Sunday from 6-7 PM. Richard as host, Rob doing color, Tim Executive Producer, Dan as Technical Adviser and Jake can call in an Andy Rooney type piece! With guest appearences from local racers such as Cecil, Nabor, Spencer, Mugavin, Harris, etc! The above thought started out as a joke, but the more I think about it, the better it sounds. This would be good radio, good promotion for HAR, Kroger, Tide etc P. S Where's the #69 icon??? :greenflag: |
Re: Hoffman Racing on Radio
sounds like winner to me!!
