Is DuQuin the planned indoor racing this winter besides the C.B.? There a chance Wisconsin or something in K.C. again? Well, maybe not KC but just wondering, its a fun weekend to watch in winter timr.

DuQuoin will be running again in March to kick off the POWRi points season. I thinks it's the 26th.

Tulsa has the Ecotec midgets with the shootout too....before the chili bowl.

Is there not going to be Columbus & Toledo rumble events this year?

Was thinking mainly dirt. The Rumble is a pretty good drive for me as well. What has to change to run on the syrup?

If you have a dirt car, it will still work indoors. You will need to change the bars to pavement type plus springs around the 300 range. Set the bird cages for pavement pick up if they are combo type. Obviously you will need indoor pavement tires. You will also need a gear set in the 30's if you have a 3:78 rearend. For specifics, I would call Don Kenyon at 3K Racing: 765-482-4273

Stay on topic Don. This thread is not about set-ups.:42::

It looks like he is on topic..the above person had a question of interest. Don Moore runs a dirt car on the syrup, concrete and Geoff Kaiser runs up front with it.

14 year old Adam Wilsdon was pulling away from drivers like Dave Darland, Billy Wease, Jon Stanbrough and more with a car that started out as a dirt chassis.

I was asking for specifics I suppose. How about the front axle? Seems to me a fella would want that car sling pretty low. Thanks for everything thus far guys.

That's kinda what I thought you were asking, also, don't see where Don gave up any secrets about setup, he was merely trying to give you an idea of the difference. Yes, you do need to drop the car down, all the way around, when you put the rear arms, in the pavement position, if you have those birdcages, you should also be able to drop the front an equal amount, some have a different axle, that has a 2" or so drop in it, I have rollers on mine, and I simply remove them, 4 bar car, on the few times we run pavement. No need for a "Black Flag", I'd say walk in his shoes! Bob:22::2::15:

Geoff Kaiser is the mechanic on Don's car. Maybe he will give some input. Here is a photo from 2005 with Tracy Hines in Don's car..and Derek Bischak in Gary Barnett's Stealth/Gaerte. Bischak also nearly won at Fort Wayne in the # 3. Kaiser has been up front with the #10 Don Moore car.

Attached is a Randy Jones photo with both dirt cars.

What type of chassis/engine do you have?

Here is the race that Adam Wilsdon pulled away from some very good drivers and cars with a former dirt Stealth/Gaerte. Wilsdon pulls away twice from cars that have won in the past. Here is video courtesy of D.O.

Nothing in Wisconsin that i have heard of. That arena that held that indoor race a couple years ago is by Cedar Lake Speedway and is a long haul, darn near to Minnesota.

Believe it or not Racegal is a ways northeast of Cedar Lake Speedway in Somerset Wi. My guess is she is at least an hour from the track. The track is basically across from St. Paul and Racegal is more out in the middle of the state......she's really out in the middle of nowhere! Sorry Racegal, not poking fun of your location. ;)

Does anyone know if they plan on using the grandstand side as the front stretch again? I know that prior to last March's show, they always had the flagstand on the pit (north) side of the building, and that was the configuration when the karts raced down there over Thanksgiving. I liked it better with the spectator side being the front stretch.
