WOO PS3 Game?
 

I think Santa is going to bring a PS3. How do you guys feel about the WOO game? Is is worth the money or should I consider another idea?

BTW, I had the old PC version, but I don't have a PC anymore... I moved up to a mac.

Get Gran Turismo 5 if your going to spend money on a good racing game. Ive heard of two dates that its going to come out. But i truthfully dont know which one it is. Its either November 24th or January 1st. The sprint car game is worth the $20. But to everyone that has bad internet. It isn't very good. People jump around a lot on the screen. I just kind of got tired of it. There are still quite a bit of people that play though. I eventually went back to Call of Duty MW2. Add me when ya get it and we can play. Username the1jet17.

I would get the old World of Outlaws 2002 game that was on the ps2. I think (someone correct me if I am wrong) that you can play ps2 games on ps3. The game is on ebay for around 15 bucks and is a lot better than the game that was released this past year imo.

The newest game that was released this past year is pretty good. A lot better than the last couple that they came out with before. A hard copy is not available for PS3, only XBOX. But you can download it for PS3. My favorite WoO game is still the Ratbag 2002 game though

You could only play PS2 games on the older PS3 that is now out of production. The harddrive size of the newer ones is different and apparently so is the DVD reader?

But on the original ones it was only the 80 gb i believe. Because i have the original 40 gb and i cant play ps2 games on my ps3. So i still have my ps2 plugged in for when some friends and i wanna pull out the ole WoO 2002. It was by far the best game...

I personally did not like the Woo game. It is very unrealistic and the physics just aren't there. But I agree with Speedracer, the 2002 World of Outlaws game is great! I still play it. You can usually find it at a Gamestop store. And the new formula one game, called F1 2010 looks really sweet. I plan on purchasing it soon.

yeah the new WoO game isn't that great in my opinion. I'm getting the new F1 game soon, which I think looks great. The F1 game that game out in 07, is actually a great game too considering it's 3 years old. I still play it. Just my 2 cents. Has anyone ever played Saturday Night Speedway? I think it's a really good game, because it's the only one that has midgets on it. You can do a really cool midget championship.

I played it on the PS2. I'm not sure if they make it for any other systems or not.

man, the new Woo game is a ton better.. the graphics, are better.. not GREAT, but better.. Different tracks.. can do more with you car.. and its 20 bucks.. you can not go wrong with it.. now if we could just figure out how to get a NON wing game worth a darn..

Bought the new WOO game for XBOX 360, played it for 20 minutes and turned it off and wont waste my time ever playing it again. SUCKED!!!!!! The old one for PS2 is a lot more realistic. Wish I had my 20 bucks back. Just my opinion though.

waste of money. i played it for about two days and went back to playing my ps2 from 2002. that is the best dirt racing game ever made.

I know you are all talking PS and X-Box but the best thing out here is RFactor on the PC...online and a bunch of leagues along with ANYKIND of racing you want!!....but the PS2 original WoO is the best :22: console game

The outlaws 2002 is good. Right now best on the market for any racing game has to be rfactor. Most realistic one out there. What you change on the car you actually feel. Onlything its missing is the actual racecar with mud flying at you i've got buddies that i race with that have taken a junk car and you sit in it while playing

Saturday Night Speedway is awesome...it's just like the WoO 2002 game. You can't go wrong with midget racing! Better than wings any day

WoO 2010 is terrible. IMHO, anybody who wants a real simulation needs rfactor. For the PC but its the most realistic racing game there is. No nonwing sprints yet.... but their is winged, midgets, latemodels, modifieds, etc. need a pretty good pc tho. If you want more info PM me.

actually there are non wing sprints for rfactor. they aren't available to the public yet.

Dalton...BOZ Racing is working on them and are looking to release them early spring when Rfactor2 is released

awesome....now not that i dont trust you....but where are you getting this information? I just posted yesterday on BOZ how great it would be to have them and none of the admins commented. regardless.....phenominal!

I grew up around winged cars and will always love winged cars....but my personal preference is that Id rather see nonwing anyday.

The non wing mod I have is called USSAC Sprints. Ryan Broughton was one of the testers for them I believe and he gave them to me, I raced with him and Chase Briscoe a few times.

I have 3 mac computers and the kids are on a slow PC. The wife has a PC, but she won't let anyone touch it.

If I really had to have rfactor I guess I could get a fast PC and then build me a seat for the steering and pedals. BTW, what steering and pedals would you guys buy?

There is a geenral sense that much of this series will be relatively insignificant, the fact that it involves the soon to be playable Worgen is a definite boost. That this is streamed and there will be some artifacting of the image, but honestly, it really isn’t that bothersome and the image looks as good as today’s streaming technology can present without a massive amount of bandwidth needed.

George: I would recommend 2 different wheels. Very different in price.

Logitech Driving Force GT - about $100

Logitech G27- about $400
