Pancho Carter at Salem. May 30, 1977. Won two 50 lap midget features and a 50 lap sprint car feature. Finished 6th behind winner Tom Bigelow in the other 50 lap sprint car feature.

If USAC National midgets ever ran 4 midget races at one track on the same day they failed to make a record of it. I have records of every USAC midget race ever run. Not only is there no record of four races at the same track on the same day there have been only two occasions in their history where they ran three. Both were night before the 500 events at the old 16th St. Speedway in 1956 and 1958. Please enlighten us Duke.

I know this is not all midgets but Jack Hewitt at Eldora at the 4 crown nationals a few years back was magic.

Your question - usac midgets which driver won 3 races in one day? My answer was "I know it wasnt all midgets" but Jack Hewitt won 4 races same track same day but not all in a midget. I didnt think that was that difficult to understand

Was it during the "Triple 33's" that were run @ Winchester? Because I belive that the Offy was on it's last leg or very last leg at that time.

The Run Those 33s At Dayton When Earl Baltes Was The Promoter And They Where Sprint Cars! Clue It Was In Indiana! Not Winchester!

The only reason Pancho didn't win the 2nd sprint car race was because the motor was only running on 6 cyclinders

I was absent from the board for a time, so I was wondering what ever happend to Russ, aka Vucky. :confused: He always had the answers to these trivia questions. He's not on the Members List anymore.

Al, I think Vuky got fed up with all the bickering on here. I have seen him on Midget Madness a few times lately. I miss him a lot here.

What's the difference between the semi and the consi? I always thought they were the same thing. Sometimes referred to as last chance race also.
