I was wondering if I could get some input on powder coating. Who are some good Powder coaters in Central Indiana. Also what the going rate to have a frame blasted and coated.

Ryan Pace did our car last year and I was very pleased with it. Price seemed pretty good considering he had to strip the old powdercoat, sandblast and re-coat it. Don't have a # but he is in Brownsburg near Sprint Mart.

if its less than 500.00 I will probably get it done but if not I'll go ahead and and sand it down and shoot it.

The Blast Shop, in Seymour, In, was the least expensive I found, they do Kuntz chassis, Mastersbilt, and a lot of others. Red is about $25.00 more than any of the std colors, price, you'd need to call, but they did my midget for under $250.00, in red, including blasting. Better hurry, if you want a quick turnaround, they will be getting covered up pretty soon. 812-524-8822 and ask for Ed. Bob

I would highly recommend Cararra Powdercoating, Anderson, Indiana. Rick attends all the major racing trade shows and is tops in the field. A major ('THE' major?) chassis builder used to bring all his frames to Anderson for Rick to paint...
