...Conquest Racing with Owner Eric Bachelart and Driver Franck Perera. I'm sure everyone here is familiar with both !:wink

A second entry is also in the making with a driver to be announced.

The team has previous IRL experience in 2002 with driver Laurent Redon.

That's two cars committed of an expected eight. The rest should be coming in the fold in the next few days as time is of the essence !

Yeah I remember Laurent Redon wasn't he the french hairdresser, what a quality driver. :thumb And I am sure that Conquest's new driver will be of the same caliber.:moon:

I remember watching Franck Perera win a spectacular race at THAT. He rode the cushion on turn 3 to pass Tracy Hines and Dave Darland coming out of.........oh wait, that wasn't him, nevermind.:doh:

Driver Will Power for Walker Racing and Graham Rahal for Newman/Haas/Lanigan Racing are also now confirmed from CCWS to the "new" IRL !

Was wondering if either had ever raced at THAT or Salem or Winchester , maybe ? ... Illinisprintfan might jog his memory and let us know ! :O:

Yeah, Graham is on his way to F1. Just as soon as he spends the next 5 years in europe proving himself. He will be getting a ride about as soon as Marco.....

The days of USAC being a stepping stone to Indy are over.... Just like Indy being a stepping stone to F1.

If either Marco or Graham were serious about F1, they currently reside on the wrong continent.
