I wonder if USAC will allow some cars to tag the tail of the heats.

To have just 19 midgets on dirt, (especially at the 4-Crown) is a pretty sad turn out.........

USAC is going to have to do something to reign in the costs/limit the engines!

Owners know that Eldora is a very high RPM track for a Midget. Unless you have a killer motor, you don't have a shot at winning.

19 midgets at the 4 crown is sad. what i find more shocking is only 26 silver crown cars.

Silver Crown is actually up from last year, it was only 22 then. POWRi is running tonight too, so I'm guessing that hurt the midget count a little.

This has been the trend the last few years, it's not anything shocking. I was there last night, and the quality of cars is there, so I wouldn't be worried about it.

I would definitely say though, USAC has tough shoes to fill tonight for sure. The World of Outlaws put on a fantastic show. Very very good racing.

Anybody know where to get a live feed of the races? The drive to Eldora from here in Charlotte would be pretty extensive/expensive.

Except for the makeup race for the dust-out Tony usually doesnt allow live feeds of the USAC races at E. You can check usacracing.com to make sure though.

Wonder how long it will be before USAC is talking about doing away with USAC dirt and pavement midget racing like they are pavement sprint car racing?
