Waynesfield -Hewitt Classic-...who's going?
 

IOW has a thread with confirmed/potential drivers going to Waynesfield (which looks to be a heck of a turn out) this Saturday night.......

I was wondering who was planning on going to Waynesfield for the Jack Hewitt Classic, as fans?

I'll be there (wouldn't miss this race!!), and I've got confirmation from 12 family members and friends that they are going too....

RacinBabe and I plan on being there. I enjoyed last years race and hope for another good showing this time out.:6:

I really wish I was. I live in columbus but have to be in indiana. Life and racing have not been cooperating. I wish I could have supported waynesfield more this year. Hope it is A good race.

The dorkboy will there as always.Sittin towards the top in last section towards turn one.

Now knowing that the 53 of JS will be in Iowa I may stay close to home and just hit the Burg. Tough choice, the Hewitt Classic sounds like such a good race.

We'll be there a little before 5pm, and do some tailgating/grilling in the parking lot. Then head into the stands for one of the best races of the year!

Hope a lot of folks come to WRP tonight...maybe for their first time there. :6: The track is always really 'racey', and the non-wing cars put on a hell of a show!!

Since I have been working in the area this week. I will be getting to the track about 5. Will be watching instead of driving unless someone knows of an open seat for the night.

Just got confirmation of the 6 extra people coming...plus 2 more!! I hope everybody is bringing along some friends and family with them too!!



It would be great to see you in the seat tonight Dustin...you always have ran pretty good at WRP!

After the feature, one of the guys in our group of 19 people looked at me and said, 'You know, earlier this year at Waynesfield, I told you I had just seen the best sprint car feature in my life....well, I now have just seen the best sprint car feature in my life'

What an incredible race last night.....then again, all of the non-wing races at WRP are top shelf!
