Re: Results from last night at LPS
Steve Thanks for posting the results from saturday night. It was a great night of racing at LPS. Could you post the purse for the bomber bash. I seen that it is $300.00 to win but was wanting to know what 2nd on back is going to be. Thanks Don Shoulders

Re: Results from last night at LPS
But what about that race?????
Olsen leading, Gaines leding, Olsen takes it back, Gaines flat tire drops out. Anderson stepping up running side by side with Olsen for laps the Cramer coming to the party for the lead. 3 cars racing for the lead until Cramer final takes the lead and pulls away some leaving Olsen and Anderson to battle with Hollingsworth sniffing their behinds from the distance. That was all up front what about the big group behind battling for a spot anywhere? *** was that a race ar what? And over by 9:33 or so. Then Brian Hayden in the Cyclone, Indiana Open Wheel modified held of all comers to get Chief Mechanic/Team Manager Bill Gardner another feature win. Good job boys. Good crowd for a weekly race, car count could of been better but with 6 options for Sprint cars the field was good. Once again a good jon by Spiker Promotions. :35: |
Re: Results from last night at LPS
They just need to make the track raceable in the heats. Too much water!
|
U guys wanna run laSt...and bomber will run 2nd,,lol..couldn't belive larry was on grader after our feature...what happened to tom skene doing...seems like its rougher than beginning of yr when he was doing it.they h.theyhad it watered bout 3 when I got there.left it soak watered more bout 430.it was good track for feature no wall or curb

Re: Results from last night at LPS
Walls I don't really care when we run. It just sucks when you draw a bad pill( and yes pill draw sucks) and there is one lane race track. Make it slick from top to bottom and lets go racing.

The track held up great! Had the cloud cover early which kept more moisture in and yes it was tough to pass in the heats but made for a great mainevent surface to race on.! |
So I take it the this dri bar thing don't work and a nice and tacky track gotta be black slick

Re: Results from last night at LPS
It's very easy fellas... Draw a good pill, Start up front in the heat... win heat race... draw a good invert pill... start front row of feature... AND WIN! It's that simple! :3:

I do appreciate everything Spiker does for us. But I believe if the track was more racier in the heats it would put a better show on for the crowd. Thats all I am saying and not trying to piss anyone off.:5: |

Re: Results from last night at LPS
thought the track was pretty good three grooves in the feature, sure was alot better than being so dusty you cant see the car in front of you. keep it up !!!
|
The features have not been one groove races. Brian passed on the bottom for the lead. There has been several sprint car features where the finish was side by side for win. So obviously I don't agree that there hasn't been a bottom at LPS.
Spikers track prep last saturday was heavier on the water, he thought there might be a fairly large sprint car count since it was the 2000 to win clash. There was a very good thread the other day about walking a mile in there shoes. (A promoters shoes). Remember fellas, Its dirt!!! it won't be the same every night. That's part of what makes dirt racing so enjoyable. I'm sure we can continue this discussion Saturday night. Stop by I'll smack some sense into you. Haha! Posted via Mobile Device |
