The weather finally looks like it is going to cooperate with us so we can get the Bob Darland Memorial Race in!

General Admission $20.00 (kids 10 and under free)
Pit pass $30.00

Pit gate opens at 3:30
General Admission gate opens at 4:00

Hotlaps/qualifying start at 5:45 with racing to follow.

Dave and a few other driver's will be out signing autographs from 4:30-5:00! :6:

At noon the sun is shinning and the temp. is just about perfect, you could not get a nicer day. Great night to honor a great man.

Since no one is running tonight besides Kokomo, and the payouts are pretty high, im guessing the car count will be high at least i hope :)

Fremont Speedway in Ohio has the road to the Jack Hewiit Classic qualifier tonight too paying I think $2500 to win....might be $2000

They had 24 cars last night at Eldora with all but 3 or 4 of them planning on hitting Fremont. Add at least 6 locals that I know for sure are running to night, that makes Fremont car total close to 30 tonight...Probably wont effect Kokomo too much but a few guys will be at Fremont

It looks to me like Duane was just correcting & responding to reeserx's post about no other tracks running tonight and car count.

IMHO no harm, no foul on Duane's part.

Not very many here tonight. I think they said 19 or 20 sprints,and not very many midgets either.

Racing was good, but I hated to see JS and DD and even Grant not make it to the finish. It would have made for a great race had they not hit the pits early. Was a little disappointed with the car count after a 2 1/2 hour ride, but the racing was good anyway. Love to go to Kokomo just wish it was closer to home.

Not a bad night. I thought a few more guys like Hagen, Gardner, and East may show, but its getting late in the season. Kudos to DD, Jon , Jerry, and Josh Spencer for the autograph session. I think the kids really thought it was cool.

i wasnt too impressed with the car count but there was alot of quality cars, like chris windom, js, kurt gross, i was surprised to see brady short there pullin double duty..was good racing, watch out for justin grant, kid was on a mission last night

ill have to agree. justin grant was awesome and curt gross found something sunday night to i was verry impressed with the both of them and to have jon stanbrough come from the back to have a win takin from him was disapointing
