Should be a good show tonight. Looks like there is going to be some rain in the area soon, but hopefully after that everything is clear. |
Re: ORP Tonight
Thanks guys

Re: ORP Tonight
the $5 parking fee is ok as long as they let you bring in your own coolers. you can save 20 to 40 bucks easy.

Re: ORP Tonight
Some strom going across the top of Indiana headed for Kokomo east.
Should be no rain for most of the night depending on some pop ups around St Louis. It's hot and nasty outside, good night for racinng. :35: |
Re: ORP Tonight
5 minute rain in Plainfield at 3:45, it looks like either we get lucky tonight or we get wet.......as short as these storms are we may see a lot of the jet dryer tonight but I bet they get it in. Mionica said they were on the track a few minutes ago

Re: ORP Tonight
My source says there are maybe 30 midgets there. Bobby East, Darren Hagen, Bryan Clauson and Chuck Gurney Jr. are the heat winners.
At least 20 Silver Crown cars are there too. No qualifying race for them; they will start straight up apparently. |
After sitting through first caution of the night in the second midget heat, I have developed a new appreciation for the efficiency and quickness of the Kokomo Speedway track crew. It only took several caution laps to clean up a single car spin that made no contact with anything. The safety crew arrived in 2 trucks, 1 tow truck, and 1 ambulance all with lots of crew helping out.
